General Safety Warnings
Read all safety warnings and instructions. Failure to follow them may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury. Save these instructions for later use.
- Only use the charger when you fully understand and can perform all functions, or have received appropriate instructions.
- Only charge Yard Force lithium-ion batteries. The battery voltage must match the charger's charging voltage to prevent fire and explosion risk.
- Keep the battery charger clean. Contamination can lead to electric shock.
- Before each use, check the charger, cable, and plug. Do not use if damage is detected. Never open the charger yourself; have repairs done by qualified personnel using original spare parts. Damaged components increase electric shock risk.
- Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling, or unplugging the charger. Keep the cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges, and moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase electric shock risk.
- Do not operate the charger on easily flammable surfaces (e.g., paper, textiles) or in flammable surroundings. Heating during charging poses a fire hazard.
- In case of damage or improper use of the battery, vapors may be emitted. Ventilate the area and seek medical help for respiratory irritation.
- Supervise children during use, cleaning, and maintenance to ensure they do not play with the charger.
- This tool is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless supervised or instructed by a person responsible for their safety.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- Do not cover the charger; it can overheat and malfunction.
- Observe the safety instructions for the battery.
- This is a Class II unit and must only be connected to properly earthed power sources.
- For GB only: Your product is fitted with a BS 1363/A approved electric plug with internal fuse (ASTA approved to BS 1362). If the plug is not suitable for your socket outlets, it should be cut off and an appropriate plug fitted by an authorized customer service agent. The replacement plug should have the same fuse rating. The severed plug must be disposed of safely.

Operation: Charging the Battery Pack
NOTE:
- Remove the battery pack from the charger after it has been fully charged.
- Battery should be fully charged before first use.
- Make sure the mains voltage is the same as the rating label on the charger.
- Connect the charger to a power supply. The red LED will light up.
- To insert the battery pack into the charger, align the raised ribs of the battery pack with the grooves of the charger, then push it in.
- The green LED light of the charger will flash continuously during normal charging.
- After charging is complete, the green LED will light up.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Occasionally clean the battery charger using a soft, clean, and dry brush.
Disposal
Battery chargers, accessories, and packaging should be sorted for environmentally-friendly recycling. Do not dispose of battery chargers into household waste!
Only for EC countries: According to the European Guideline 2012/19/EU for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment and its implementation into national law, battery chargers that are no longer usable must be collected separately and disposed of in an environmentally correct manner.
