Assembly and Setup
Follow these steps to assemble your electric bike:
- Install and Adjust Handlebars: Attach the handlebar stem and adjust its height and angle for comfort. Ensure it is securely locked.
- Adjust Saddle Height: Loosen the quick-release lever, adjust the seat post height and saddle angle, and then tighten the lever.
- Install Pedals: Use the 15mm wrench to install the pedals. Remember to lubricate the threads before mounting. Note that the right pedal tightens clockwise, and the left pedal counter-clockwise.
Operating Your E-Bike
- Powering On/Off: Insert the key into the frame's bottom slot and turn it counter-clockwise to turn on the device. Press and hold the "U" button to activate the display.
- Using Pedal Assist: The e-bike offers three levels of pedal assistance (0-3). Use the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust the assistance level.
- Lights: Press and hold the "+" button for 3 seconds to turn on the front and rear lights. Press again to turn them off.
- Walk Assist: Press and hold the down button for 3 seconds to activate walk assist mode, which moves the bike at up to 6 km/h.
Battery and Charging
- Charge the battery fully before the first use.
- To charge, open the rubber flap and connect the charger to the e-bike's charging port or remove the battery for charging.
- The charging indicator will turn red while charging and green when fully charged.
- Always use the original charger. The charger has overcharge protection.
- Do not expose the battery to high temperatures or fire. Do not disassemble the battery.
Safety Precautions
- Always wear a helmet while riding.
- Ensure all screws and fasteners are tightened before riding.
- Do not ride in bad weather conditions.
- Avoid performing tricks or dangerous maneuvers.
- Do not carry passengers or excessive cargo.
- Ride slowly in crowded areas.
- Check the brakes, tire pressure, and all components regularly.
- Familiarize yourself with the brake levers before riding.
- Do not exceed the speed limits or ride on unsafe surfaces.
- Ensure the bike complies with local regulations.
