Description
The XTR-480 series is a 480W AC/DC 3-phase input, ultra-slim, industrial, high-reliability DIN rail power supply. Its narrow 63mm casing optimizes system installation space. Key features include a maximum efficiency of 95.5% and low standby power consumption (<3.1W) via remote control for energy savings. It offers constant current with up to 200% peak power, fanless design, and an ultra-wide operating temperature range of -40 to +85°C (derating above +60°C). The series complies with OVCIII, offers parallel function capability up to 1920W, and features ultra-low inrush current (<10A). It includes built-in Remote Control, DC OK, and ORing FET. The internal PCB coating provides basic moisture and dust protection, and multiple terminal blocks are available for selection. With comprehensive protection functions, complete safety certifications, and a 5-year warranty, the XTR-480 series is a compact, high-performance, and highly reliable DIN rail power supply.

Block Diagram
The power supply incorporates an EMI filter, rectifiers, PFC circuit, power switching, output rectifiers and filter, DC OK, ORing FET, and parallel connection capabilities. It also includes remote control functionality.
Key frequencies: PFC fosc: 65KHz, PWM fosc: 60KHz.
Derating Curve
The derating curve illustrates the relationship between ambient temperature and load percentage for three-phase operation. Above +60°C, derating is applied.
Another curve shows output derating versus input voltage for both three-phase and dual-phase operation, indicating a stable output up to 600Vac for three-phase and 530V for dual-phase.
Peak Power
The XTR-480 series supports peak power capabilities. The graph shows the maximum allowable duty cycle (%) versus peak output power (W) for different models. For example, the 24V model can achieve a peak output power of 960W (200%) with a maximum duty cycle of 5% for a duration of 5 seconds, provided the non-peak output power is less than 454.7W.
Function Manual
DC OK Relay Contact
- Contact Close: PSU turns ON / DC OK
- Contact Open: PSU turns OFF / DC Fail
- Contact ratings (max.): 30Vdc/1A, 30Vac/0.5A resistive load.
Remote ON/OFF Control
The PSU can be turned ON/OFF using the Remote Control function:
- Remote power ON: RC+ and RC- open or keep 2~5Vdc
- Remote power OFF: RC+ and RC- short or keep <0.5Vdc
Various methods for remote control are supported, including external switches, optocoupler control modules, external auxiliary power, and relay control modules.
Protection Against Reverse Voltages from the Load
The built-in ORing FET protects the PSU from damage caused by back electromotive force during deceleration of motors or inductive loads.
