Victa Robot Mower Quick Start Guide
Model: RM100
Important Safety Information
Warning! Read the directions for use before operating the appliance.
Step 1: Prepare the Lawn Area
Ensure the lawn area is clear before operating the robot mower.
Step 2: Positioning the Docking Station
A: Place the docking station in a suitable location.
B: Ensure adequate space around the docking station (refer to diagrams for specific measurements).
C: Position the docking station with sufficient clearance.
D: Connect the boundary wire to the start and end points of the docking station. Allow for extra wire for adjustment.
E: Insert the boundary wire into the docking station.
F: Secure the boundary wire with the provided stakes.
G: Route the boundary wire around the lawn area.
H: Connect the boundary wire to the docking station and plug in the power adapter.
Step 3: Cutting Height Adjustment
Adjust the cutting height of the mower as needed. The recommended cutting height is between 10-15 mm. Ensure the mower will cross the boundary wire (less than 5 mm) and will not cross obstacles like trees (more than 10 cm).
Step 4: Main Switch Location
Locate the main switch for turning the mower ON/OFF.
Step 5: Programming
A: Access the programming menu on the mower's display.
B: Enter the initial PIN code (4 digits).
C: Set the current date and time.
D: Set the desired working time for the mower.
E: The mower will indicate when it is ready to start.
F: Close the cover after programming.
Diagrams:
- Lawn Layout: The diagrams illustrate optimal lawn layout for the robot mower, including placement of docking station (S1, S2), boundary wire routing, and clearances (e.g., > 10m, > 0.5m, > 2m).
- Slope Considerations: The mower can handle slopes up to 40%.
- Boundary Wire Crossing: Diagrams show how the mower interacts with the boundary wire, indicating when it will cross (less than 5 mm) and when it will not cross (more than 10 cm).
- Obstacle Clearance: Ensure sufficient clearance from obstacles like trees (more than 40 cm).
- Wire Placement: Specific measurements for boundary wire placement are provided (e.g., 80 cm, 40 cm).
- Wire Crossing Rule: A crucial rule is illustrated: "Never cross the wires."
