Important Safety Instructions

This product must only be installed by qualified installers. This document provides basic installation and safety guidelines for this product in typical fixed installations. Please read this document and all safety instructions before installation.

- Do not use this device near water.
- Clean the device only with a clean, dry cloth.
- Ensure ventilation openings are not blocked. Install the device only in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
- Do not install the device near heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other devices (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
- Ensure the protective function of the grounding plug is not impaired. A polarized plug has two power contacts, one wider than the other. A grounding plug has two power contacts and a third grounding contact. The third contact is for safety. If the supplied plug does not fit your outlet, consult a qualified electrician to replace the obsolete outlet.
- Route the power cord so that it is not a tripping hazard and cannot be damaged – especially near plugs and sockets and where the power cord exits the device.
- Use only accessories/attachments approved by the manufacturer.
- For the device, use only carts, stands, tripods, brackets, or tables approved by the manufacturer or sold with the device. If using a cart, move the unit-cart combination with caution to avoid injury from tipping.
- Unplug the power cord during thunderstorms or when the device is unused for extended periods.
- Have all repair and maintenance work performed only by qualified personnel. Maintenance is required in the following cases: any damage, such as to the power cord or plug; if liquids or objects have entered the enclosure; if the device has been exposed to rain or moisture; if it has been dropped; or if it is not functioning properly.

General Warnings
- Contains small parts that can be swallowed and pose a choking hazard. Not suitable for children under 3 years.
- Use only at altitudes below 2000 meters (6562 feet).
- All Bose Professional products must be installed in accordance with local and state regulations and all industry standards. The installer is responsible for ensuring that the installation of the speakers and mounting hardware complies with all applicable regulations, including local building codes and ordinances. Consult with the responsible approving authority before installing this product.
- Do not mount the product in locations where condensation may occur.
- This product is not intended for installation or use in wet areas (e.g., swimming pools, water parks, rooms with whirlpools, saunas, steam rooms, and ice rinks).
- Protect the product from dripping or splashing liquids, and do not place liquid-filled containers (e.g., vases) on or near the product.
- To prevent fire and electric shock, do not expose this product to rain, liquids, or moisture.
- Keep the product away from fire and heat sources. Do not place burning candles or similar items on or near the device.
- Do not mount or place the product near heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, or other devices (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
- Due to ventilation requirements, the product must not be placed in an enclosed space, such as a wall niche or a closed cabinet.
- Do not make unauthorized modifications to this product.
- Do not use an inverter with this product.
- Do not use the product in vehicles or boats.
- Use a grounding connection or ensure that the outlet is properly grounded before connecting the power plug to the outlet.
- If using the power plug or a power strip to disconnect the device from the power supply, ensure that you can access the disconnecting device at any time.
- Use only mounting accessories recommended by the rack manufacturer.
- Do not touch uninsulated wires or terminals. The audio cable connections of this product are live and can cause injury.
