Note: The C16 earbuds feature NTC temperature control protection. They will not charge if the temperature reaches 45 degrees Celsius or higher. The charging case will automatically protect itself in such cases. It is recommended to stop charging (or disconnect wireless charging) and recharge after the temperature drops below 45 degrees Celsius.

FAQ
How to fix charging issues on wireless earbuds?
- If earbuds are stored for a long time without use, their lifespan or battery life may reduce. Please charge the charging case at least once every week.
- The battery can over-discharge, potentially leading to battery failure. If the charging case's power level becomes critically low, the LED display might not show immediately when plugged in with a charging cable. Please wait approximately 15 minutes for the display to activate.
- The charging contacts on the wireless earbuds may not be making proper contact with the charging pins inside the charging case due to repeated insertion and removal. Ensure that both the charging contacts on the earbuds and the pins in the case are clean and correctly positioned, and not damaged.
- If earbuds are kept in pockets (e.g., jeans), lint, dust, or other debris can block the charging ports, leading to charging issues. Try cleaning the charging pins of the case and the charging contacts of the earbuds to remove any obstructions.
- The constant bending and flexing of the charging cable for the charging case can degrade its charging ability over time. Charging issues may stem from a damaged charging cable. Occiam provides replaceable charging cables.
What if my phone can't detect my earbuds or the connection is not stable?
- Already Connected to Another Device: The earbuds may already be paired with a different device. Disconnect them from that device and try pairing with your smartphone again.
- Distance Too Great: The distance between the earbuds and your phone might be too far. Keep your phone close to your earbuds when attempting to connect both.
- Bluetooth Interference: Other devices such as WiFi routers, other Bluetooth devices, or even microwaves can cause Bluetooth signals to become weak or interrupted.
- Phone Bluetooth Disabled: Your phone's Bluetooth might be turned off, especially in low battery status. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.
- Smartphone Software Glitches: Minor software issues on your smartphone can sometimes cause problems. Try resolving this by turning your phone's Bluetooth off and then on again. If this does not work, try restarting your smartphone.
- Power Saving or Airplane Modes: These modes often disable Bluetooth to conserve battery life. Turn off these modes to successfully connect your smartphone with your wireless earbuds.
