The STIHL AutoCut C 6-2 is a trimmer head designed for use with STIHL trimmers and brushcutters. It is engineered for efficient cutting and ease of use.
Installation and Line Loading

- Line Diameter (A): 2.0 mm (0.08 in.) or 2.4 mm (0.095 in.)

Attaching the Trimmer Head
The AutoCut C 6-2 head is designed to be attached to compatible STIHL trimmer shafts. Ensure proper alignment and secure attachment as per your trimmer's manual.
Loading Cutting Line
- Insert the cutting line into the designated slots in the trimmer head.
- Rotate the spool within the head to wind the line.
- Ensure both ends of the cutting line extend evenly from the head, approximately 120 mm (5 in.) on each side.

- A cracked, damaged or worn out mowing head may shatter at high speeds and cause serious or fatal injury. To reduce risk of injury from broken parts, check condition of trimmer and mowing head before starting work and at regular short intervals thereafter.
- Keep mowing lines in a water bath between 12 hours and 24 hours before use to increase their useful life.
