Sena WiFi Docking Station Quick Start Guide

Main Unit Holder

The WiFi Docking Station features a holder for the main unit, a microUSB connector, LED indicators, and a microUSB power port.

Components:

Notice: Use only the included cables and charger, or a compatible microUSB cable (5V, >1A). Do not connect the WiFi Docking Station to a PC's USB port.

Insert the USB Power and Data Cable into the microUSB Power Port.

Attaching a Main Unit

Power off the main unit before connecting it to the microUSB cable and attaching it to the WiFi Docking Station. If the main unit is left on, the charging LED on the WiFi Docking Station will blink red slowly.

Connection Setup

  1. Open the 30K Utility App.
  2. Click the menu button and select the "WiFi Docking Station" menu.
  3. Follow the app's instructions to connect your WiFi Docking Station to a WiFi access point.

Note: To change the WiFi access point, perform a Factory Reset and repeat the steps.

Connecting Smartphone and 30K via Bluetooth:

  1. Turn on the 30K.
  2. Set the 30K into pairing mode.
  3. Connect your smartphone to the 30K in the Bluetooth settings menu.

Note: To set up your WiFi Docking Station, power off the 30K main unit, tap the menu button in the upper left, then select "WiFi Docking Station".

Upgrading the Firmware of a Main Unit

Firmware upgrades automatically when the main unit is charging. To manually upgrade, change the setting in the 30K Utility App.

Note: Do not unplug the USB Power and Data Cable during firmware upgrades to avoid product damage.

Factory Reset

To restore the WiFi Docking Station to factory default settings:

  1. Locate the pinhole reset button on the unit.
  2. Gently insert a paperclip into the hole and tap the Factory Reset Button with light pressure.
  3. The WiFi Docking Station will restart automatically with all three LEDs illuminated.

Note: The WiFi configuration, firmware setup, and language setup will be restored to factory defaults.
