The Yamaha RX-V683 is a 7.2-Channel 4K Ultra HD network AV receiver featuring Dolby Atmos® and DTS:X™ object-based surround sound. It integrates with the free MusicCast Controller app for easy access to music libraries and streaming services. Audio can be extended to up to nine additional rooms using MusicCast wireless speakers or other MusicCast devices. The receiver offers Wi-Fi®, Bluetooth®, and AirPlay® wireless connectivity, a phono input for vinyl playback, and Zone 2 audio for enhanced system versatility.

MusicCast Compatibility and Zone 2 Link Master Function
MusicCast employs a high-performance wireless network to deliver music and audio enjoyment. It can stream digital music content from smartphones, PCs, or NAS to other MusicCast devices and external devices like a TV or Blu-ray Disc™ player connected to the RX-V683. Additionally, Zone 2 Link Master allows enjoyment of sound playing in Zone 2 in other MusicCast rooms, even when the main zone is powered off.
YPAO™ R.S.C. (Reflected Sound Control) and YPAO™ Volume
YPAO analyzes room acoustics and the system, then precisely adjusts various audio parameters for optimum sound. YPAO R.S.C. enhances sound to studio-grade quality. YPAO Volume automatically adjusts high and low frequency levels at any volume level, ensuring natural sound reproduction even at low volumes.
The YPAO Volume feature helps maintain sound clarity and balance regardless of the listening volume, preventing the perception of missing bass or treble at lower levels.
