Getting Started
Unpacking: Carefully remove your Rolipo garment steamer from its packaging. Check for any visible damage. Ensure all accessories are present.
Filling the Water Tank: Ensure the appliance is unplugged and cool. Open the water tank cap. Fill the tank with clean tap water up to the MAX fill line indicated. Do not overfill. Close the water tank cap securely.
Power Connection: Place the steamer on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
How to Use
Heating Up: Once plugged in and the water tank is filled, press the power button [▶️]. The indicator light will illuminate, signaling that the steamer is heating up. Allow approximately 45-60 seconds for the steamer to reach operating temperature.
Steaming Garments: Hold the garment taut with one hand. With the other hand, hold the steamer head approximately 1-2 cm (0.5-1 inch) away from the fabric. Move the steamer head slowly and steadily over the fabric, directing the steam towards the wrinkles. The steam will relax the fabric fibers, removing wrinkles.
Important Note: For best results, hang garments on a hanger while steaming. Avoid steaming directly on the hanger itself. Ensure the steamer head is held upright to allow steam to flow correctly.
Turning Off: After use, press the power button [▶️] to turn off the appliance. Unplug the power cord from the outlet. Allow the steamer to cool down completely before storing.
Care and Maintenance
Regular maintenance will ensure the longevity and performance of your Rolipo garment steamer.
Descaling: If you live in an area with hard water, mineral deposits may build up over time. To descale:
- Ensure the appliance is unplugged and completely cool.
- Fill the water tank with a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and water.
- Plug in the steamer and let it heat up for a few minutes.
- Unplug the steamer and let it sit for 30 minutes.
- Empty the tank and rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Fill the tank with clean water and operate the steamer for a few minutes to flush out any remaining residue.
Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the steamer with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
Storage: Ensure the steamer is completely cool and dry before storing it in a cool, dry place.
