Qualified Personnel

Refer to the operating instructions. Person adequately advised or supervised by an electrically skilled person to enable him or her to perceive risks and to avoid hazards which electricity can create. For the purpose of the safety information of this manual, a "qualified person" is someone who is familiar with requirements for safety, refrigeration system and EMC and is authorized to energize, ground, and tag equipment, systems, and circuits in accordance with established procedures. The inverter and endues system may only be commissioned and operated by qualified personnel.

Introduction

The SUN-SMART-SWITCH01P3 supports multiple control methods:

  1. When the inverter enters off-grid mode, the smart switch will automatically turn off and remain disconnected.
  2. Turn off the switch on the local LCD of the inverter or manually through the cloud platform's APP or webpage, as well as the SET button on the switch body.
  3. Control the ON and OFF of the smart switch according to the set program: 4 adjustable time periods, each time period can set the battery SOC threshold for turning ON or OFF the smart switch.

The smart switch can be used in various scenarios, including:

Installation steps for single-phase scenarios are similar to the three-phase steps.

Installation

Step 1: Turn off the inverter or AC circuit breaker to ensure that the AC cables on the input and output sides of the smart switch have no voltage.

Step 2: Thread the AC cable of appropriate length through the swivel nut and the housing (Part B) of the external male connector.

[Diagram showing cable threading through swivel nut and housing]

Step 3: Strip 30 mm ~ 40 mm of the cable jacketing and 8~10 mm of the wire insulation.

[Diagram showing cable stripping]

Step 4: (Optional) When using a multi-core multi-strand copper wire cable, connect the AC wire head to the cord end terminal (hand-tight). In case of single-strand copper wire, skip this step.

Step 5: Fix all the wires to the terminal of Part A (terminal part) according to the polarity indication using the L-type Hexagon wrench provided.

Step 6: Rotate Part A to the appropriate angle, then push Part A towards Part B. Part A will lock in place with an audible click.

Step 7: Repeat steps 2 to 6 to complete the wire connection of the external female connector.

Step 8: Plug the external male and female connectors into the corresponding connectors of the smart switch.

Operation Modes

Manual Mode

The smart switch can be turned ON/OFF through its own SET button, the LCD of the inverter, the APP on the smartphone, or the webpage of the cloud platform.

Time Mode

Use the programmable schedule to control the ON/OFF state of the smart switch. Its own SET button cannot control its ON/OFF state.

Channel Scanning

The smart switch will scan the communication channel of the transmitter from channel 0 to channel 1.

The operation process of operating the SET button to switch modes and scan channels is as follows:
