Note: Do not install the camera or cables near an airbag panel or within its working range, as the manufacturer is not liable for injuries caused by airbag deployment.
Install the Static Sticker (Optional)
- Wipe clean the windshield surface.
- Peel the red protective film off the static sticker and attach it to the windshield, pressing to remove bubbles.
- Peel the green protective film off the static sticker.

Dash Cam Recording Operation
Power On / Off
- The camera turns on and begins recording automatically when the engine starts.
- It stops recording and turns off when the engine is turned off or the charging cable is unplugged.
- Long press the ☰ button to manually power the camera on or off.
Loop Recording
- Automatic loop recording begins once a microSD card is inserted and power is detected.

- When storage is insufficient, loop recording automatically overwrites the oldest files.
- Loop recording files are saved to the SD card in the path:
\DCIM\Movie
.
Emergency Recording
- Automatic emergency recording: The G-sensor detects collisions, automatically locking the current footage to prevent it from being overwritten by loop recording.
- Manual emergency recording: Press the ▶ ! button during recording to lock the current file.
Note: G-sensor sensitivity can be adjusted in settings. Locked files are saved to DCIM\Movie\RO
.
Disable / Enable Audio Recording
Press the ▸ MIC button once to turn audio recording on or off. The MIC LED will be off or solid blue accordingly.
Parking Mode
There are three parking mode options:
- Auto Event Detection: Records a video sequence when a moving object is detected and stops when no new movement is detected.
- Time Lapse Recording: Records video at low frame rates (1/2/3/5/10 fps) continuously without audio.
- Low Bitrate Recording: Uses a low bitrate for video and audio, creating small file sizes for continuous recording.
Note: Parking mode requires the engine to be off and the USB Type-C Hardwire Kit for continuous power and car battery protection. The VIOFO HK4 ACC hardwire kit is recommended.

Pairing with dash camera:
- Power on the camera.
- Press and hold the video lock button on the remote for 3 seconds to pair with the camera.
- A blue LED indicator on the remote signifies successful pairing.
System Settings
Access system settings by pressing the Menu button (☰) during video mode (recording must be stopped).
Resolution
Available resolutions include: 2592 x 1944P 30fps, 2560 x 1600P 30fps, 2560 x 1440P 30fps, 2560 x 1440P 60fps, 2560 x 1080P 60fps, 2560 x 1080P 30fps, 2304 x 1296P 30fps, 1920 x 1080P 60fps, 1920 x 1080P 30fps.
Bitrate
Choose between Low, Medium, or High bitrate. High bitrate enhances video quality and smoothness, especially for fast motion or high contrast scenes, but may reduce recording time. Low bitrate saves space and allows for longer recording.
Loop Recording
Set loop recording to Off or intervals of 1, 2, 3, 5, or 10 minutes. Recording starts automatically with a microSD card. Files are up to three minutes long and older footage is replaced when the card is full.
Exposure
Adjust the EV (Exposure Value) from -2.0 to +2.0 (default 0.0) to improve recording results under different lighting conditions.
HDR (High Dynamic Range)
Options are Off, On, or HDR Timer. The multi-exposure HDR technique balances lighting in bright and dark areas to prevent overexposure.
Parking Mode
Three options are available:
- Auto Event Detection: Records moving objects and stops when no movement is detected.
- Time Lapse Recording: Records at low frame rates continuously without audio.
- Low Bitrate Recording: Records video and audio with small file sizes for continuous recording.
Note: A VIOFO HK4 ACC hardwire kit is recommended for parking mode recording.
Enter Parking Mode Timer
Set the timer for entering parking mode: "Off" (immediate) or "90s" (90 seconds after engine off). This function is only for hardwire cable use.
Parking Recording Timer
Set the duration for parking recording: "Off" (records until power cut) or "1 hour" (shuts down after 1 hour in parking mode).
Parking G-sensor
The G-sensor detects impacts or collisions to trigger event recording. Setting it to High sensitivity is suggested for parking mode.
Parking Motion Detection
Adjust motion detection sensitivity to prevent minor movements (like wind or rain) from triggering recordings in parking mode.
Time-lapse Recording
Set time-lapse recording intervals to Off or 1, 2, 3, 5, or 10 fps to conserve memory and speed up review.
Motion Detection
When activated, recording begins with detected movement. Recording stops after 60 seconds of no movement and switches to detect mode. It will record again if new movement is detected.
GPS
Turn the GPS logger on or off to include location data in videos. Disabling it prevents speed and position measurement and time synchronization. Use "Dashcam Viewer" to visualize position and speed.
Disable GPS in Parking Mode
Toggle GPS in parking mode On or Off.
Speed Unit
Select speed units: kilometers per hour (KPH) or miles per hour (MPH).
G-sensor
Measures g-shock forces. Sensitivity (Low to High) determines the force needed to lock files. Setting it to 'Low' is recommended.
Wi-Fi
Turn Wi-Fi On or Off. Long press the ☁ button for 3 or 5 seconds to enable Wi-Fi quickly. 5GHz Wi-Fi mode is recommended if your phone supports it.
