Usage

1. Connection Between Light Fixture, Control Unit and Power Supply

Connect the fixture body to the control unit using the DC connecting cable. Ensure power voltage matches the control unit's specifications. Use the provided AC power cable for AC power input.

2. Connection Between Light Fixture and Control Unit with Battery

The unit can be powered by 14.4-14.8V V-mount batteries. When using two batteries, maximum output is 100%. With one battery, maximum output is 45%. Do not use 26V batteries. Batteries are sold separately.

3. Installation and Detachment of Quick Release Clamp

Mount the clamp on a light stand by rotating the adjustable handle to tighten. Align the control unit's quick release plate with the clamp's mount to attach. Press the lock catch on the clamp to detach the control unit.

4. Installation and Detachment of Reflector

To install, align the reflector with the fixture's Bowens mount and rotate until it clicks. To remove, push and hold the lock catch while rotating the reflector.

Remote Control

The Forza 300B II supports 2.4G remote control, DMX/RDM control, and has a built-in Bluetooth module. ADDRESS settings are required for 2.4G and DMX/RDM operation.

1. ADDRESS/DMX Settings

Navigate the menu using the left and right knobs to access ADDRESS/DMX options. You can set ADDRESS (1-512), DMX MODE (CCT 8bit, ULTIMATE DMX 8bit), DMX REDUCED CHANNELS (ON/OFF), DMX DIMMING CURVE (LINEAR, EXPONENT, LOGARITHM, S CURVE, GAMMA 2.2), and DMX SMOOTHING (ON/OFF).

2. DMX Control

Connect fixtures to DMX/RDM consoles using a 5-pin shielded cable (minimum 0.3mm diameter). Pin 1 is GND, Pin 2 is DATA-, Pin 3 is DATA+. Pins 4 and 5 are N/C. A DMX terminator (120 Ohm resistor across Pin 2 and 3) is recommended for the last fixture in a chain to prevent signal interference. The fixture supports DMX512 (1990) control signals. A 3-pin XLR to 5-pin XLR conversion guide is provided.

The DMX Reference Guide, downloadable from www.nanlite.com, provides detailed information.

3. 2.4G Remote Control

Remote control is available via a 2.4G remote controller or the NANLINK APP (with WS-TB-1 transmitter box). Bluetooth connectivity is also supported. The fixture supports 2.4G wireless protocol V1.0 and V2.0. Set the protocol to V2.0 for WS-RC-C1/C2 controllers, or V1.0 for other controllers. Bluetooth can be reset via the menu.

4. RDM Control

Connect to consoles with RDM function using the same method as DMX. Control the fixture via the RDM console. The fixture's UID format is 0008 XXXX XXXX 020CForza 300B II, Manufacturer: Nanguang.
