The Synology DiskStation DS718+ is a 4-bay NAS device powered by a quad-core processor with an AES-NI hardware encryption engine, delivering exceptional performance and accelerated 4K video transcoding. It is ideal for protecting critical resources and providing cross-platform file access. Synology offers a 3-year limited warranty for the DS718+.

Compact Storage System with Superior Performance

The DS718+ is designed for small or growing businesses requiring a compact yet powerful storage solution. It offers flexibility with the ability to expand RAM from 2GB to 6GB for demanding workloads. With its 1.5GHz quad-core processor (bursting up to 2.3GHz), the DS718+ achieves sequential read speeds of up to 226 MB/s and write speeds of 188 MB/s in a RAID 1 configuration. Even with encrypted data, it delivers read speeds up to 226 MB/s and write speeds of 184 MB/s.

The DS718+ features three USB 3.0 ports and dual Gigabit LAN ports with failover and Link Aggregation support. It can support up to 7 drives when paired with a Synology DX517 expansion unit.
