This guide provides essential information for using your Hisense Compact Grill HCG2100S.
The grill features adjustable temperature settings for different levels of doneness: Rare, Medium, and Well Done, as well as a Manual mode.

Getting Started and Assembly
Follow these steps to set up your grill:
- Attach Grill Plates: Ensure the grill is unplugged and cool. Open the grill. Insert the grill plates into their designated slots. Some models may require a 180-degree rotation of the plates before insertion. Secure the plates as indicated.
- Close the Grill: Gently close the lid of the grill.
Operating Your Grill
- Power On: Plug the grill into a suitable power outlet (?). Press the ON/OFF button. The PREHEAT indicator will illuminate.
- Preheat: The grill will begin preheating. This is indicated by a series of beeps (typically 3x beep).
- Place Food: Once preheated, open the grill and place your food on the plates.
- Select Cooking Mode:
- Automatic Doneness: Select RARE, MEDIUM, or WELL DONE. The grill will automatically cook the food to the selected level and signal completion (e.g., 5x beep).
- Manual Mode (M): Select 'M' for manual control. You will need to monitor cooking progress and select doneness manually.
- Cooking Process: Close the grill lid. The grill will cook the food. The display may show cooking progress.
- Auto-Off: The grill may automatically turn off after cooking is complete or after a period of inactivity (e.g., 3x beep, AUTO OFF). Some models have a 2-hour ON timer.
- Empty Indicator: If the grill is empty, it may display an "EMPTY" indicator.
- Timers: Some functions may have specific timers, such as 5 minutes ON or 2 minutes OFF.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Safety First: Always unplug the grill (?) and allow it to cool down completely (?️) before cleaning.
- Remove Plates: Carefully remove the grill plates from the unit.
- Clean: Wash the grill plates with warm, soapy water. Wipe the interior and exterior of the grill with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the grill unit in water.
- Dry: Ensure all parts are thoroughly dried (Dry well) before reassembling or storing.
