Product Overview
The IW693P is a state-of-the-art System-on-Chip (SoC) that enables concurrent dual Wi-Fi (CDW) and Bluetooth connectivity. It supports multiple Wi-Fi modes, including 2x2 Wi-Fi 6/6E on 5-7 GHz and 1x1 Wi-Fi 6 on 2.4 GHz. Advanced features such as MU-MIMO, OFDMA, Target Wake Time (TWT), and Bluetooth LE Audio are integrated for enhanced performance and efficiency.
This solution simplifies design by incorporating integrated 2.4 GHz and 5-7 GHz TX power amplifiers (PA), RX low noise amplifiers (LNA), TX/RX switches, and a Bluetooth radio. It also supports external front-end modules (FEM) and offers flexible antenna configurations.
Key Features
- Wi-Fi Capabilities: Supports Wi-Fi 6/6E (802.11ax) with concurrent dual-band operation, MU-MIMO, OFDMA, and up to 80 MHz channel bandwidth.
- Bluetooth Integration: Features Bluetooth 5.3 with support for LE Audio, including isochronous channels.
- Power Management: Offers individual low-power down modes for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth subsystems, low-power standby, and integrated DC-DC converters.
- Security: Integrates NXP's Edgelock technology for secure boot, firmware authentication, lifecycle management, and anti-rollback protection, targeting SESIP security certification.
- Host Interfaces: Provides PCIe for Wi-Fi and UART for Bluetooth connectivity.
