The MARLIN L CGA4236 is a DOCSIS 3.1 capable cable gateway designed to deliver triple-play services beyond Gigabit speeds. It provides VoIP functions for residential and business users and features the latest WiFi 6 technology for faster throughputs, improved performance in dense multi-user environments, and extended battery life for connected devices. The CGA4236 is engineered to meet regional requirements across Europe, Latin America, and North America.

Highest Performance with DOCSIS 3.1
The CGA4236 meets the demands of cable operators seeking to offer ultimate broadband access. It is fully compliant with the latest DOCSIS 3.1 specification, capable of delivering downstream speeds up to 3.6 Gbps using 2 OFDM downstream channels (or up to 5 Gbps with 2 OFDM plus 32 Single Carrier QAM). Upstream speeds reach up to 1.5 Gbps via 2 OFDMA upstream channels.
WiFi 6 Technology
WiFi 6 enhances gigabit-service delivery by providing reliable connections for numerous devices. It supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, representing a significant upgrade since WiFi 4. While maintaining similar data rates to WiFi 5, WiFi 6 improves signal robustness for more devices and better channel sharing. It achieves higher data rates through advanced modulation (up to 1024 QAM vs. WiFi 5's 256 QAM), reduces latency for faster load times, and mitigates interference in high-density Wi-Fi areas. Target Wake Time (TWT) allows clients' WiFi radios to sleep, saving power and extending battery life.
Superspeed USB
The CGA4236 includes superspeed USB 3.1 Gen 1 master ports, supporting devices like mass storage, enabling significantly faster transfer speeds and higher power output compared to USB 2.0.
