Installation Steps
Step 1: Mark Wall Mounting Points
Place the wall mounting plate (part b) against the wall at the desired location. Use a pencil (tool 1) to mark the positions for the two mounting holes on the wall through the plate.
Step 2: Drill Holes and Insert Anchors
Using a drill (tool 2) with a Ø6mm (Ø1/4") drill bit (tool 3), drill holes at the marked points on the wall. Insert the wall anchors (part c) into the drilled holes. A hammer (tool 4) may be used to gently tap them flush with the wall surface.
Step 3: Attach Main Mounting Bracket
Align the main mounting bracket (part a) with the wall anchors. Secure the bracket to the wall using the M3.5 screws (part d) and a Phillips head screwdriver (tool 5).
Step 4: Prepare for AP Attachment
Route the Ethernet cable through the designated opening in the main mounting bracket (part a). Connect the Ethernet cable to the Access Point (AP) unit.
Step 5: Mount the Access Point
Align the Access Point (AP) with the main mounting bracket (part a). Slide the AP onto the bracket and twist it clockwise until it locks securely into place. The mount features a locking mechanism ?.
