Device Bridge Pro Installation Guide

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for the installation of the Ubiquiti UniFi Device Bridge Pro.

Installation Procedures

Pole Mounting Assembly

Combine the Pole Mount Adapter (b) with the Pole Mount Hub (c).

Securing to Pole

Place the Pole Clamp Ring (d) around the pole. Attach the assembled mount (c) to the pole. Secure the mount using the Pole Clamp Ring (d) and a Phillips head screwdriver. Tighten to a torque of 5 Nm. Ensure the pole diameter is within the range of 20mm ≤ Ø ≤ 53mm.

Attaching the Device Plate

Attach the Mounting Plate (a) to the assembled pole mount. Secure it using the integrated locking mechanism.

Connecting Power Components

Connect the UniFi PoE Injector (e) and the USB-C Cable (g).

Network and Power Connection

Connect the cable from the Device Bridge Pro (likely from component 'a') to the UniFi PoE Injector (e). Connect the USB-C Cable (g) from the injector to a power source.

Network Configuration Overview

The Device Bridge Pro integrates into a network infrastructure, typically involving a UniFi Cloud Gateway, switching, and UniFi Access Points.

A PoE Device can be connected to the UniFi Access Point.

Mobile App Setup

Download the UniFi mobile application from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to manage your network devices.

Wall Mounting Alternative

For wall mounting, use the provided Wall Mount Bracket (f) and screws.

Mark the desired location on the wall using the bracket (f) and a pencil. Secure the bracket (f) to the wall using screws.

Attach the UniFi PoE Injector (e) to the mounted bracket (f). This mounting method is referred to as "Quick-Mount".
