Before Use
Changing Tools
Your appliance features a fully automatic spindle lock. When the motor is stopped, the drive train locks, allowing the chuck to be opened by turning. After inserting and tightening the desired tool by turning the chuck, you can continue working. The spindle lock automatically releases when the motor starts (by pressing the ON/OFF switch ).
Torque Preselection/Selecting the Operating Mode
You can adjust the torque using the torque selection ring and select the drill setting . Select a low setting for small screws or soft materials. Select a high setting for large screws, hard materials, or for removing screws. For drilling work, select the drill setting by adjusting the torque selection ring to the position .
2-Speed Gearbox
⚠️ CAUTION: Operate the speed selector switch ⚙️ only when the appliance is stationary. Otherwise, the appliance could be damaged.
- 1st Gear (Speed selector switch ⚙️ position 1): Provides a speed of approx. 400 rpm and high torque, suitable for all screwing jobs.
- 2nd Gear (Speed selector switch ⚙️ position 2): Provides a speed of approx. 1600 rpm for drilling work.
Removing the Chuck
To use the bit holder ?, you must remove the chuck ?️. Hold the chuck firmly from the front. Pull/push the chuck ring in the direction of the chuck. The chuck is now unlocked and can be removed forward. To attach the quick-release chuck, pull the chuck ring towards it and push the chuck fully on. If the chuck does not automatically click into place, turn the chuck ring.
Use
Switching On and Off
- Switching On: Press the ON/OFF switch .
- Switching Off: Release the ON/OFF switch .
- Continuous Operation: Press and hold the ON/OFF switch , then lock it in the pressed position with the locking button .
- Switching Off Continuous Operation: Press the ON/OFF switch again.
Adjusting Rotational Speed
Light pressure on the ON/OFF switch provides low speed. Increasing pressure increases the speed.
Changing Direction of Rotation
⚠️ WARNING: The rotation direction switch ? may only be used/adjusted when the appliance is stationary. Change the direction of rotation by pressing the switch towards the left or right.
Activate Lock
Push the rotation direction switch ? to the middle position. The ON/OFF switch is then blocked.
Maintenance and Cleaning
⚠️ WARNING! RISK OF INJURY! Switch the appliance off and remove the power plug before starting any work.
The appliance is maintenance-free.
- Keep the appliance clean, dry, and free from oil or grease.
- Never allow liquids to get into the appliance.
- Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the housing. Never use petrol, solvents, or cleansers that can damage plastic.
⚠️ Cable Replacement: If the connecting cable needs to be replaced, this must be carried out by the manufacturer or an authorized representative to avoid safety hazards.
