Installation
Installation Diagram

Installation Instructions
- Plug the ACP-WLX into the CarPlay or Android Auto USB port of your car's radio.
- Turn the radio ON and select the USB port that corresponds to the CarPlay or Android Auto input.
- Wait until the ACP-WLX connection screen appears on your radio display.
- On your smartphone, navigate to Bluetooth settings and connect to the Bluetooth name listed on the radio screen (e.g., "AUTO-xxxx").
- Enjoy your wireless CarPlay or Android Auto experience!
Interfaces and Indicators
The ACP-WLX module features the following:
- USB Type-C port: Connects to the car's USB port.
- USB-A port: Used for USB flash drive firmware updates and wired Android Auto/Apple CarPlay connections.
LED Indicators
- Power on: Red light is always on.
- Connected to car successfully: Blue light is on.
- AA/CP connected: Blue light flashes slowly.
- Updating: Red and blue lights flash alternately.
Connecting Your Device
How to Use Wireless Android Auto
- Ensure the latest Android Auto app is installed on your smartphone.
- In the Android Auto app settings, enable "wireless Android Auto".
- Turn on your smartphone's Wi-Fi ? and Bluetooth ?. Search for the Bluetooth name "AUTO-xxxx" and tap to pair.
- Confirm any Bluetooth pairing requests or notifications on your phone.
- Your device will connect to Android Auto wirelessly after a few seconds.
How to Use Wireless CarPlay
- Turn on your iPhone's Wi-Fi ? and Bluetooth ?. Pair to the Bluetooth name "AUTO-xxxx".
- On your iPhone, tap "Pair-Allow-Use CarPlay" when the popup notification appears.
- Your iPhone will connect to CarPlay wirelessly after a few seconds.
Important Connection Notes
- When connecting to Android Auto wirelessly, you may encounter a network prompt: "AUTO- This network has no internet access. Stay connected?". Select "Yes" to maintain the connection.
- Before pairing a new iPhone or Android phone, please disconnect any currently connected phone from Wi-Fi ? and Bluetooth ?.
Updating the Adapter
Firmware Update
Firmware updating is generally not recommended if all functions are working correctly.
To perform an online update:
- Enter

in your smartphone's browser and tap "Switch P2P" (or "Update" if prompted). - If your phone does not automatically connect to the adapter's Wi-Fi network, manually join the network named "AUTO-xxxx" using the password

. - Once connected via the browser, if a new version is available, tap the "Update" button.
Update Notes:

Update Process Indicator: The red and blue indicator lights will flash alternately while updating. After the lights become solid, wait for an additional 30 seconds, then disconnect and reconnect the adapter from the USB port to finalize the update.
