Motion-activated LED Lights & Human Detection

Motion-activated LED Lights

This feature is enabled by default. The camera turns on its LED lights when it detects movement in its view, but it will not start recording.

Human Detection

The camera turns on the lights and starts recording when it detects a person moving in its view. You can adjust the human detection accuracy via a slider in the app, with options for Low, Medium, and High accuracy:

If the areas you are monitoring experience excessive or repetitive motions, such as children playing, you may receive numerous alerts, which can rapidly deplete battery life. The human detection accuracy settings are designed to help you receive desired notifications while preserving battery life.

Quick Guide to the App

The app interface displays the camera's status, such as "HT100 80%". Key functions accessible via icons include:

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How can I share the device with family members?

Open the app and navigate to Settings. From there, you can share the device via QR code or email, and even transfer ownership. The new user must first download the app and create their own account.

  2. Why can't I change the settings?

Only the owner account has the ability to change settings, delete videos, and share the device. Shared accounts do not have these options.

  3. How many users can view the device at the same time?

The owner account can share the device with up to 8 other accounts. Up to 3 users may view the video feed simultaneously, but only 1 user can use the intercom feature.

  4. Is the 5GHz Wi-Fi supported?

No, the camera only works with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. To connect, please separate your 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi bands by giving each a unique SSID (network name), then connect your device to the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.

  5. Why is my Wi-Fi signal weak?

Your camera may be too far from your wireless router, or there may be obstructions reducing signal strength. Consider repositioning your router or getting a signal extender/repeater.

  6. Why is the camera offline?

An offline camera means it is disconnected. Potential reasons include a weak Wi-Fi signal (improve your Wi-Fi signal and reconnect the device) or an unstable Wi-Fi connection (try restarting the router and reconnecting the Wi-Fi). A good Wi-Fi connection is essential, especially since the device might be located outdoors.

  7. How can I adjust the human detection accuracy?

In the app, tap on Settings, then Motion Settings. You can select the desired human detection accuracy from three options: low, medium, and high. Medium is recommended. High accuracy provides the strictest detection level, meaning the device will be triggered only when it is certain the moving object is human, but this may cause missed notifications. Low accuracy records videos more frequently, leading to the shortest battery life.

  8. How can I enable notifications on my phone?

    1) In the app, from the Device page, tap the Settings icon, then tap the Motion Detection icon to choose whether to turn Motion Alerts on or off. 2) On your phone, navigate to "App Management" and "Notification Settings," locate the app, and ensure all permissions and notifications are enabled for the app.
