PROGYS 300 TRI

The PROGYS 300 TRI is a three-phase MMA and WIG inverter welding power source offering high performance. Equipped with reinforced electronics, it provides industrial operations with maximum performance even in challenging environments. The integrated, additionally activatable VRD function protects the user in explosion-risk areas such as pits, chemical plants, shipyards, etc.

E-Hand Welding (SMAW) / WIG Lift

• MMA: rutile, basic, cellulose, or aluminum electrodes (up to Ø 6mm)
• Gouging with carbon electrodes (up to Ø 5mm)
• WIG DC with Lift-Start ignition (Ø 1.0 to 3.2mm)

Welding Aids

• Adjustable Arc Force function: optimizes arc stability.
• Antisticking: Prevents electrodes from sticking to the weld pool.

Intensive Use

• High duty cycle for high productivity at 300A: 60%.
• The high open-circuit voltage (83V) guarantees high arc stability and trouble-free ignition of cellulose electrodes.
• Optimized device cooling through a closed ventilation duct that protects the electronics from dust.

Easy Operation

• Display of current/voltage during welding
• Easy-to-use control panel with buttons and a rotary knob, adjustable even with gloves on.
• Manual remote control optional (Art. No. 045675).

User Protection

• VRD Function (Voltage Reduction Device): with a switch on the device, the open-circuit voltage can be reduced to 20V.
