Important Notes

Attention: The use of rear kickstands, mudguards, pannier racks, and trailers always modifies the intended use of the model within Category 2. The variation in system weight is due to the weight limits of the installed components.

The bicycle weight includes the weight of the bicycle (in a medium frame size), including attached accessories. Additional luggage not placed on the pannier rack is also part of the bicycle's weight. For models available with different frame variants (diamond, trapezoid, easy-entry), the indicated value refers to the diamond variant. The rider weight describes the weight of the rider and their equipment.

*1/*2 The specified saddle limits the maximum weight of the cyclist and bicycle to 100 kg. If replaced with a saddle with a higher load capacity, the value increases to 110 kg or 115 kg, respectively.

The maximum load on the pannier rack is only valid for bicycles on which a pannier rack has been mounted by a specialist dealer. The maximum load of the pannier rack is further limited by the use of a trailer.

** Lowrider: Maximum payload 10 kg, evenly distributed (left/right). The load on the lowrider does not affect the maximum load of the pannier rack and must be considered separately.

** The Longtail Rear pannier rack can be loaded with a maximum of 40 kg from the top and a maximum of 15 kg on each side.

The support load describes the load acting on the rear axle of the bicycle. The support load must not exceed 8 kg.

+++ The total permissible mass of the trailer, including loading, is 60 kg, taking into account the maximum load specifications of the trailer manufacturer. The vertical load of the trailer (2-8 kg) must be deducted from the pannier rack load.

The system weight describes the maximum permissible total mass. This must not be exceeded under any circumstances.

*3 The specified saddle limits the maximum system weight to 120 kg. If replaced with a saddle with a higher load capacity, the value increases to 135 kg.

Example 5: Non-Compliant System Weight (Exceeds Max Luggage Capacity)

Example 8: Non-Compliant System Weight (Trailer Vertical Load Deduction)

Bike Weight: 25 kg, Luggage: 20 kg, Trailer Vertical Load: 8 kg. This configuration is compliant as the trailer vertical load is correctly deducted from the luggage capacity. [✔️]

Remark: The trailer's vertical load must be deducted from the luggage capacity.
