Getting Started

1. Check Vehicle Coverage

   Verify supported vehicles on the official MUCAR website: www.mucarco.com.

   The website allows you to check coverage lists for products and maintenance.

2. Download Mucar App and Login

   Search for "Mucar" in the App Store or Google Play and download the app for free. Log in to your account or register for a new one.

3. Activate Your MUCAR BT200

   After selecting a diagnostic function in the Mucar App, click the "Activate" button. Input the serial number and 8-digit activation code provided with your device.

4. Insert the MUCAR BT200 into Vehicle's OBDII Port

   Locate the OBDII port in your vehicle (common locations are indicated by A, B, C, D, E in the diagram). Insert the MUCAR BT200. The device powers on when the light turns green.

5. Connect the App and Device via Bluetooth

   After inserting the device, open the Mucar app and start the diagnosis. The app will automatically connect to the device via Bluetooth.

Using the Device

1. Download the Diagnostic Software

   The MUCAR BT200 automatically downloads the appropriate software for your vehicle during the first-time diagnosis. Subsequent diagnoses do not require re-downloading.

   The app displays various maintenance functions such as ABS, RESETAFS, RESETBLEED, and RESETBMS, with version and size information.

2. Indicator Lights

   • Continuous green light: Device is powered on.
   • Continuous blue light: Bluetooth is connected.
   • Continuous red light: Firmware needs to be upgraded.

3. OBD Functions

   Click "OBD function" on the home page to access 8 diagnostic menus: Read fault code, clear fault code, read data stream, freeze frame, O2 sensor test, ON-BOARD monitoring, and EVAP system. OBD scan inspects emission-related issues of the powertrain.

4. All Systems Diagnostic

   Click "ALL SYSTEMS DIAGNOSTIC" for system-wide diagnostics. You can intelligently read VIN information or select your vehicle brand for diagnosis. This function allows reading and clearing error codes, and reading data streams for all systems.
