Technical Drawing and Dimensions
The JIVE lamp has a modern design. The technical drawing shows the following dimensions:

Installation and Usage Diagrams
The diagrams illustrate key aspects of the JIVE lamp:
- Diagram 1: Shows the power connection (DC 5V/1A) and internal components labeled A, B, and C.
- Diagram 2: Depicts the charging status with indicators for 100% and 0% charge, and an approximate charging time of 2.5 hours. It also illustrates the sensor functionality and how to switch between color temperatures (3000K, 6500K, 4750K) based on press duration: a short press (<2 seconds) cycles through the temperatures, while a long press (>2 seconds) turns the light off.
- Diagram 3: Shows the lamp's adjustable tilt angle, which is 40 degrees in each direction.
Safety Instructions
Please read these instructions carefully and keep them for future reference. Follow the instructions for safe and correct installation and operation. Lucide is not liable for damage caused by improper installation or use.
General Safety:
- Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician or someone with sufficient knowledge.
- Always disconnect power before installation, maintenance, or repair.
- If in doubt, contact a qualified electrician.
- Consider the installation location: indoor, outdoor, or bathroom. Indoor items are not suitable for humid places.
- Keep the product away from water, liquids, and flammable materials.
- Always maintain the minimum distance (indicated on the lamp) from flammable products.
- Ensure cables are not pinched or damaged by sharp edges during installation.
- If the external flexible cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, their service agent, or a qualified electrician to avoid risks.
- The product and bulbs can get hot; allow them to cool before touching.
- Always use the correct bulb type and maximum wattage as indicated on the product.
Explanation of Symbols
Usage Restriction: This product is suitable for indoor use, excluding bathrooms, unless a higher IP rating permits bathroom use.
Recycling: Electrical and electronic equipment must be collected separately for reuse and recycling. Equipment marked with this symbol should be returned to a municipal waste collection point.
Electrical Safety Classes:
- Class I: Has an earth connection. The earth wire (green-yellow) must be connected to the earth terminal [earth connection symbol].
- Class II: Double insulated and does not require an earth connection [double insulation symbol].
- Class III: Suitable for low voltage supply only and does not require an earth connection [low voltage symbol].
IP Ratings (Ingress Protection):
- IP44: Splashproof (protected against water splashes).
- IP54: Dust protected and splashproof (protected against dust and water splashes).
- IP65: Dust-tight and protected against water jets (protected against dust and water jets).
- IP67: Dust-proof and protected against immersion in water for 30 minutes (protected against dust and immersion).
Other Symbols:
- If the protection glass is damaged or broken, it must be replaced immediately.
- Maintain the minimum distance from the bulb to flammable objects [minimum distance symbol].
Warranty Information
Lucide NV warrants that products will be free from defects in material and workmanship for 3 years from the date of purchase by the end user, provided the item is installed and maintained properly according to the user manual.
Warranty Exclusions:
- Broken glass parts will only be replaced within 14 days of purchase.
- Normal wear and tear, discoloration from normal use.
- Damage caused by external factors such as fire, water, incorrect use, installation, or maintenance.
For warranty claims, customers must provide the defective fixture/part and the original purchase ticket.
