Getting Started
Follow these steps to set up your Vortex ZG65:
- Remove battery cover: Gently open the back cover of the phone.
- Insert Micro SD card: Insert the Micro SD card into the designated slot.
- Insert SIM card(s): Insert the SIM card(s) into the appropriate slots.
- Insert battery: Place the battery into the phone.
- Insert Type-C cable to charge: Connect the Type-C cable to charge the device.
- Power on and run initial setup: Press the power button to turn on the phone and follow the on-screen instructions for initial setup.
Product Vision Image
The Vortex ZG65 features a sleek design with accessible buttons and ports:
- Volume Buttons: Located on the side, used to adjust volume or mute calls.
- Power Button: Also located on the side, used to turn the device on/off and lock the screen.
- Front Camera: 5MP camera for selfies and video calls.
- 3.5mm Audio Jack: For connecting headphones or external speakers.
- USB Type-C Port: For charging and data transfer.
- Main Camera: 8MP rear camera with VGA for enhanced photography.

Basic Operations
Make & Answer a Call
- From the Home screen, touch the phone icon.
- Touch to show the dial pad.
- Dial a number, then touch the call icon to initiate the call.
- Answer a call: Drag the answer icon to the right.
- Decline a call: Drag the decline icon to the left.
Volume Control When Calling
Use the volume keys on the side of the phone to adjust the sound volume during a conversation.
Send a Text
- From the Home screen, touch the messaging icon.
- Touch the 'To' field and enter the recipient's number or contact name.
- Touch the message field and type your message.
- Touch 'Send' to send the message.
Adding Email Accounts
When you first open the Email app, you will be prompted to set up an email account. To add more accounts:
- Tap the email icon.
- In your account interface, tap 'Next'.
- Enter your email address and password, then tap 'Next'.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the setup.
Features
Multimedia
Watch video files saved on your SD card using the video player. Access videos by opening the Gallery app from the All Apps screen.
Music
The Music player automatically builds a catalog of your music based on information stored within the music files when you copy them to your SD card.
Main Screen
The main screen is customizable for quick access to frequently used applications and daily information like time and weather (requires third-party applications).
Wi-Fi
To browse the web, you can connect to Wi-Fi if available. A data connection may also be required, and some networks may need a password.
Camera
Your camera pictures and videos can be stored on the device or an SD card. You can copy files between the handset and an SD card, or to a PC.
Notification Icons
Notification icons appear in the status bar to inform you of new messages and events. A brief summary may also be displayed.
Gallery
The Gallery app allows you to view pictures taken with the camera, downloaded, or copied from an SD card or USB storage. It also supports basic editing, setting pictures as wallpapers, and sharing via email, messaging, or web uploads.
