Product Overview & Components
The Woojer Vest 4 is a wearable haptic feedback device designed to immerse you in sound.
Front and Rear View Components:
- 1. Control Unit / Front Left Transducer: Main control unit and haptic transducer on the front left.
- 2. Front Right Transducer: Haptic transducer on the front right.
- 3. Side-Left Transducer: Haptic transducer on the left side.
- 4. Side-Right Transducer: Haptic transducer on the right side.
- 5. Back-Left Transducer: Haptic transducer on the back left.
- 6. Back-Right Transducer: Haptic transducer on the back right.
- 7. Charging Port: USB-C port for charging.
- 8. Chair/Hanging Notch: Notch for attaching the vest to a chair (mount sold separately).
Control Panel Components:
- 9. Power/Bluetooth Button: Used for powering on/off and Bluetooth pairing.
- 10. LED Indicator: Displays status lights (pairing, connection, battery).
- 11. Volume Up Button: Increases audio volume.
- 12. Volume Down Button: Decreases audio volume.
- 13. Sensation Up Button: Increases haptic intensity.
- 14. Sensation Down Button: Decreases haptic intensity.
- 15. Analog Audio-In Port: 3.5mm analog audio input.
- 16. Digital USB-C Input Port: For digital audio input and charging.
- 17. Wired Headphone Jack: 3.5mm jack for wired headphones.
Getting Started
First-Time Usage: Charging Your Vest
- Connect the provided 20V USB-C Power Delivery charger to the rear charging port (7).
- Important: DO NOT USE the front USB-C port for charging.
- Important: DO NOT USE a standard mobile charger.
- Charge for approximately 3 hours.
Installing the Woojer App
Install the Woojer App to control your Woojer, pair with devices, update firmware, and fine-tune your experience. It is highly recommended to install the Woojer App on your mobile device.

Updating the Firmware
To get the most out of your Vest 4, ensure you are using the latest available firmware. Launch the Woojer App to update the firmware.
Connecting Your Headphones
Wired Headphones:
If you are using wired headphones, connect them to the headphone jack (17).
Bluetooth Headphones:
Pair your Bluetooth headphones with the Vest 4.

Wearing Your Vest
The Woojer Vest 4 is one size fits most. Adjusting straps must be loosened before wearing.
- Close and tighten the waist straps.
- Close and tighten the chest strap.
- Pull both shoulder straps in parallel to ensure tight contact of all haptic units to the body.
Attaching the Vest to a Chair:
Attach the vest to a chair using the Woojer Chair Mount (sold separately).

Fine-Tuning Your Experience
- Volume Up Button (11): Adjusts audio volume.
- Volume Down Button (12): Adjusts audio volume.
- Sensation Up Button (13): Increases haptic intensity.
- Sensation Down Button (14): Decreases haptic intensity.
Powering On/Off
- To Turn On: Long-press the Power/Bluetooth Button (9) for 3 seconds. The vest is on.
- To Turn Off: Long-press the Power/Bluetooth Button (9) for 3 seconds. The vest is off.
Audio-Haptic Sync
To optimize audio-haptic sync, launch the Woojer App.
Bluetooth Pairing
Manual Bluetooth Pairing - Audio Source
Steps:
- With the vest powered off, press and hold the Power Button (9) for 5 seconds. The left half-ring LED indicator will blink in alternating red/blue, indicating pairing mode for audio sources.
- On your source device (phone, computer, etc.), enter Bluetooth settings.
- Locate "WOOJER VEST 4" and pair with it.
Manual Bluetooth Pairing - Headphones
Steps:
- With the vest powered on, press and hold the Power Button (9) and the Volume Up Button (11) together for 5 seconds. The right half-ring LED indicator will blink in alternating red/blue, indicating pairing mode for headphones.
- Set your Bluetooth headphones into pairing mode and place them within proximity to the vest.
- Both devices should pair within 30 seconds.
Note: When plugging in wired headphones, it is normal for a corresponding icon not to appear.
Note: The Bluetooth icon may remain displayed after connection, even if the signal is briefly lost.
LED Indicator Behaviors
- Bluetooth Audio Source Pairing Mode: Left half of circle blinking red-blue.
- Bluetooth Headphones Pairing Mode: Right half of circle blinking red-blue.
- Searching for Audio Source: A running blue light on the left half of the circle.
- Searching for Bluetooth Headphones: A running blue light on the right half of the circle.
- Audio Source Connected: Solid blue light on the left half (or user-defined pattern).
- Headphones Connected: Solid blue light on the right half (or user-defined pattern).
- Low Battery: Circle blinking red.
- Charging: Gradual filling, color changing from red, through yellow to green.
- Charging Complete: Full green.

Care and Maintenance
- Keep the Woojer Vest Series 4 and accessories device dry. Precipitation, humidity, and all types of liquids or moisture can contain minerals that will corrode electronic circuits.
- Do not store the device in hot areas. High temperatures can shorten the life of electronic devices, damage batteries, and warp or melt certain plastics.
- Do not store the device in cold areas. When the device returns to its normal temperature, moisture can form inside the device and damage electronic circuit boards.
- Do not attempt to open the device.
- Do not drop. Rough handling can break internal circuit boards and fine mechanics.
- Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong detergents to clean the device.

Safety and Warnings (Read Carefully Before Use)
- This product contains a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery and should not be disposed of together with household waste. This product must be discarded in accordance with your local legal requirements.
- As with other devices with permanent magnets, Woojer Vest Series 4 is not suitable for use by persons with pacemakers.
- Do not use Woojer products during pregnancy without approval from your physician.
- If you have any physical condition that may limit your ability to play computer games or engage in moderate physical activity, please consult your physician before using your Woojer.
- Do not use Woojer Vest Series 4 with headphones/earphones while driving, cycling, or operating any motorized vehicle. This may create a traffic hazard and may be illegal.
- It can be dangerous to play your music with headphones/earphones at high volume while walking or engaged in other activities. Exercise extreme caution and discontinue use in potentially hazardous situations.
- Avoid using headphones/earphones at high volume. Hearing experts advise against continuous loud and extended music play. Keep the volume at a moderate level, so that you are better able to hear outside sound.
- If Woojer Vest Series 4 overheats excessively during use, do not use it and contact the technical support team through www.woojer.com/support.
- Avoid charging your Woojer Vest Series 4 at extremely high or low temperatures.
- Liquids might short-circuit the battery and cause a significant risk of fire, other bodily injury, and physical damage.
