1. Charging and Activation
Connect the FV17 charging cable to a 5V-1A adapter. Ensure correct alignment with the magnetic pins on the watch's back. Magnets will auto-align for charging. If the watch is new or unused for a long time, the battery might be in a 0-volt protection state; charge for at least 15 minutes to activate. It is recommended to charge once a month. Keep the device fully charged and turn it off when not in use for longevity and optimal performance.
2. App Download and Watch Button Functions
App Download
Download the 'FitCloudPro' app from the App Store or Google Play.
Watch Button Functions
- Short press the button to access the menu or go back.
- Long press the button for 3 seconds to turn the watch on or off.
- Rotate the button to change the watch face.
3. Watch Pairing - iOS
On first use of the FitCloudPro app, enable Bluetooth, wireless data, and notification access on your compatible smartphone by granting necessary permissions in your phone's settings.
Permission prompts will appear, such as "'FitCloudPro' Would Like to Use Bluetooth" with "Allow" and "Don't Allow" options, and "'FitCloudPro' Would Like to Send You Notifications". You may also see "Allow 'FitCloudPro' to use wireless data?" with options like "WLAN & Cellular" or "WLAN Only".
Use the app by selecting 'Visit as Guest' or 'Sign In'.
4. Bluetooth Connection - iOS
Select 'Search Now' to discover and connect the FV17 Bluetooth device. Tap the watch to 'accept', grant access, and complete the pairing process.
You will encounter prompts like "Agree to the phone binding request?" and "Bluetooth Pairing Request: 'FV17' would like to pair with your iPhone." with "Cancel" and "Pair" options. Additionally, you will be asked to "Allow FV17 to Receive Your iPhone Notifications?" with "Don't Allow" and "Allow" options.
5. Application Configuration FitCloudPro on Android
Permissions and Agreement
Tap "Accept" the FitCloudPro Privacy Policy and User Agreement, then Sign In or Use without an account.
Personal Information and Device Search
Fill in your personal information and allow the app to search for and connect to nearby Bluetooth devices. You will be asked to grant "Nearby devices" permission, which is used to search/connect nearby devices.
Device Connection
Allow FitCloudPro to discover and connect to FV17 devices. Tap the watch and select 'Accept' to grant access and complete the pairing process.
Bluetooth Pairing and Contact Access
Allow Bluetooth pairing requests, such as "Pair with FV17?" with "Cancel" and "Pair" options. You will also be prompted to "Allow access to contacts? A Bluetooth device (FV17) wants to access your contacts and call history." with "Deny" and "Allow" options.
6. Push Notification Activation
Enable desired notifications such as Calls, SMS, Email, Wechat, QQ, Facebook, WhatsApp, and LinkedIn.
Important Notes:
- The watch cannot receive notifications when the phone is in Do Not Disturb mode.
- Ensure Bluetooth is active on your phone, the FitCloudPro app is running, and the watch is connected to Bluetooth.
- Ensure notifications are visible in your phone's notification bar.
7. Weather Location Activation
Activate the weather report function in the FitCloudPro app to get weather forecasts. You will be prompted to "Allow 'FitCloudPro' to use your location?" with options like "Allow Once", "Allow While Using App", or "Don't Allow".
8. Watch Display Unit Configuration
Configure display units for Length (Metric System: Meters, Kilometers / Imperial: Feet, Miles), Weight (Metric System: KG / Imperial: Pounds), and Temperature (Centigrade Degree: C / Fahrenheit Degree: °F).
9. Watch Face Configuration/Download
Changing Watch Faces
Long press the watch face for 2 seconds, then swipe quickly to change between different watch faces.
Downloading Watch Faces
Download watch faces from the FitCloudPro watch face market. Note that only one watch face can be saved at a time; a new download will replace the previously saved one.
Touch Screen Functionality
The watch offers several interactive screens:
- Control Center: Displays time, date, and quick access icons for settings, brightness, etc.
- Weather/Recent Calls: Shows current temperature, weather icon, and recent call/app notifications.
- Data: Displays fitness metrics such as steps, distance, and calories.
- Messages: Shows incoming message notifications.
10. Watch Reset
If exercise, sleep, or heart rate data is inaccurate, or if Bluetooth connection or call functionality fails, try restarting the watch and re-pairing it. Alternatively, you can reset or update the firmware via the app.
Reset Options: Access 'Settings', then 'System', and select 'Reset'. Options may include 'Shut down', 'Restart', or 'Reset'.
11. Always-On Display Configuration
Navigate to "Settings" ⚙️, then "Display" ?️. Tap "AOD clock" to enable either the "Digital clock" or the "Analog clock".
Note: To extend battery life, the watch may deactivate the "Raise to Wake" function when the AOD function is active.
12. Call and Media Audio Activation/Deactivation
Tap the ? icon to activate or deactivate Bluetooth calls. To prevent the watch from playing media sounds or making/receiving calls, simply disable the media audio and call audio settings.
13. Adding and Synchronizing Favorite Contacts
Add contacts to the watch via the FitCloudPro app.
Connection Status
- BT & App disconnected: Indicates no connection.
- App connected, BT disconnected: The app is connected, but Bluetooth is not.
- App connected, BT connected: Both the app and Bluetooth are connected.
Note: The watch paired with the iOS system app allows message reminders even if the app is closed. However, for Android phones, the app must be open to receive message reminders.
14. APP Unlinking
- For iOS: In the app, navigate to "Device" > "Unlink". Then, go to your mobile system's "Bluetooth Settings", tap the info icon ℹ️ next to the device, and select "Forget this device" to unlink it. Ensure it is no longer connected to the mobile to reconnect later.
- For Android: In the app, navigate to "Device" > "Unlink" to disconnect from the mobile.
15. Key Safety Tips
- Do not expose the watch to extremely high temperatures, such as direct sunlight ☀️, heaters, ovens, microwaves, or hot water. High temperatures can cause battery explosions or other safety accidents.
- The product contains a non-removable pure cobalt battery ?. Non-professionals should not attempt to disassemble it due to safety risks.
- The product has passed waterproofing tests, but internal parts may experience wear affecting sealing performance due to different usage habits. Use with care during swimming and diving, but avoid saunas or hot showers.
- These products are not medical devices. Heart rate ❤️, blood oxygen, sleep, calories ?, and steps, along with other collected health data, are for reference only and not for clinical use.
