NEXEO AIO HS7000 HEADSET Quick Reference Installation Guide

The AIO HS7000 Headset is an all-in-one headset designed for communicating with customers in a drive-thru lane environment and with fellow employees privately or in group chats. It utilizes one BAT70 lithium-ion battery. With moderate use in a normal environment, the headset operates for approximately six to eight hours on a single battery charge and provides an alert when the battery charge is low.

SETUP AND OPERATION

Pairing Your Headset (AIO HS7000)

  1. Insert a fully charged BAT70 battery into the headset's battery holder. The battery clicks securely into place.
  2. Press the blue power button to turn on the headset. The Headset status LED turns on green and blinks, alternating between green and red, indicating the headset needs pairing.
  3. Hold the keypad side of the headset against the Headset Pairing Ring (solid blue circle) on the Base Station to pair. Pairing begins automatically as soon as the headset is sensed. The circular blue light turns a swirling green to indicate pairing is in progress.
  4. When the Headset Pairing Ring turns solid green, pairing is successful. The headset status LED also turns solid green. Registration occurs automatically with the initial pairing. Refer to the note if pairing fails.
  5. The 'Select Your Position' screen appears. Tap on a pane to select your position, which assigns you to a channel.
  6. If selecting DRIVE-THRU 1 (or DRIVE-THRU 2 for stores with two lanes), you also have the option of AUTO HANDS-FREE mode. This feature saves you from manually connecting with a new customer by tapping the headset button.

Note: If pairing fails (assuming the headset is on and the battery is fully charged), try again. Hold the headset steadily centered and flush against the Headset Pairing Ring. Headset movement and distance from the Pairing Ring can cause pairing errors.

AUTO HANDS-FREE Mode

When the AUTO HANDS-FREE mode checkbox is selected below the DRIVE-THRU 1 pane, you are automatically connected with a customer upon their arrival at the order point and automatically disconnected when they leave. This feature is limited to one headset per drive-thru lane. The headset remains in this mode until it is powered off.

After selecting your position, tap 'Next', and a 'Success' prompt appears. Click 'OK' to begin using your headset.
