Getting Started - USB Connection
The Cyber Acoustics Speaker Bar connects via USB to your Windows PC or Mac. It can also be connected simultaneously to your smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth.
USB Connection - Using with a PC or Mac
- Insert the USB Type C end of the Speaker Cable into the USB Type C port on your computer.
- Alternatively, use the provided USB C to A adapter to connect the Speaker Bar to an available USB Type A port on your computer.
- The Speaker Bar will power on and connect to your PC in USB mode.
- The Source Light will be solid green.
The Cyber Acoustics Speaker Bar supports plug and play for Windows 10, OSX/MacOS, and Chromebooks. After connecting, you can use it for playing music, videos, or as a speakerphone with applications like Zoom, Teams, and Skype.
If your computer does not automatically recognize the Speaker Bar when plugged in, try a different USB Type C port. If the issue persists, restart your computer.
Important: If the Speaker Bar is also connected via Bluetooth to a smartphone, it will automatically switch from USB mode to Bluetooth mode for incoming calls. To return to USB mode after the call, press the Multi-Function button ⚙️ twice (see Controls section).
Getting Started - Bluetooth Connection
Step 1: Pairing Mode
Before starting, ensure the USB Type C end of the Speaker Cable is connected to your computer's USB Type C port.
- Press the Multi-Function Button ⚙️ two times to switch between USB and Bluetooth mode.
- When in Bluetooth mode, the Speaker Bar enters pairing mode, and the Source Light will flash blue. If already connected to a device, the Source Light will be solid blue.
Source Light Flashing Blue: The Cyber Acoustics Speaker Bar is ready to pair and connect with your smartphone or tablet.
Source Light Solid Blue: Your device has successfully connected to the Cyber Acoustics Speaker Bar and is ready for use.
The Speaker Bar automatically reconnects to the last connected device when powered on and within range. When connected to a smartphone, it will auto-switch to Bluetooth mode from USB mode for incoming calls.
The Cyber Acoustics Speaker Bar can connect to one device at a time. To pair with a different device, first disconnect the currently paired device by pressing and holding the Multi-Function Button ⚙️ for 5 seconds. The Source Light will then flash blue, indicating readiness for the next device.
Your device needs to be within 100 unobstructed feet for optimal pairing and connection. Move your device closer if experiencing issues.
Step 2: Connecting Your Device
For iPhone, iPad/Tablet, Smartphone:
- Go to Settings > Bluetooth and ensure Bluetooth is enabled.
- Select 'CA-2890PRO Speaker Bar' when it appears under the DEVICES list.
- Your device will connect within a few seconds.
- The Source Light will turn solid blue.
- The Cyber Acoustics Speaker is now ready to use.

Source Light
- USB mode: Solid Green
- Bluetooth mode: Flashing Blue – Ready to pair with smartphone or tablet
- Bluetooth mode: Solid Blue – Connected to smartphone or tablet
USB Type A or Type C Setting Light
- Off: The speaker volume and EQ will be optimized for power available from a USB Type A port.
- Solid White: The speaker volume and EQ will be optimized for the higher power available from a USB Type C port.
Call / Microphone Mute Indicator
- Flashing Red: Incoming call from smartphone ?
- Solid Red: Microphone muted ??
- Red Light Off: Microphone unmuted ??

Controls
Multi-Function Button ⚙️
- Press twice: Switch between Bluetooth ? and USB ? mode.
- Press and hold for 5 seconds: Disconnect the connected smartphone or tablet.
- Press once: Answer/End a call ? or Play/Pause music ▶️/⏸️. Music will pause automatically for incoming calls.
- Press twice: Reject an incoming call ❌.
- When talking: Press once to mute the microphone input ??; press again to unmute ??.
Connection Selection (USB Type A or Type C)
- Default Setting: USB Type A connection (LED is not lit).
- Press once: Switch to USB Type C connection (LED is lit).
- Press again: Switch to USB Type A connection (LED is not lit).
Volume Controls
- Volume Up ➕: Press once to increase the volume. Press and hold to increase volume continuously until maximum level (a beep will be heard at maximum).
- Volume Down ➖: Press once to decrease the volume. Press and hold to decrease volume continuously until minimum level (a beep will be heard at minimum).
