26" Portable Sawmill ASSEMBLY

Step 1: Rails & Centre Bunk

Assemble the center bunk using eight M10 X 30 mm flanged hex bolts and M10 flanged lock nuts. Snug the bolts sufficiently to allow minor adjustments to the track width after all bunks are assembled to the rails. Ensure bunks are oriented so that the log support sleeves are on the same side.

Step 2: Mid & End Bunks

Use M10 X 30 mm flanged hex bolts and M10 flanged lock nuts at all end and mid bunk locations. Snug the hardware similarly to the center bunk.

Step 3: Feet

Assemble the leveling feet through the bottom of the guide rail and thread the M16 hex nut onto each foot. Leave the nut loose enough to allow for track leveling in later steps. To fine-tune the level, turn the middle nut on each foot. Once level, secure each foot to the rail by tightening the M16 top nut.

Step 4: Limit Plate

Use two (2) M10 X 30 mm flanged hex bolts and M10 flanged lock nuts to attach each carriage stop to the inside of the track rails.

Step 5: Log Clamps

Attach the log clamp assembly to the track using the provided nuts and bolts and tighten. Attach the log dog assembly to the track as shown below with the four nuts and bolts provided. Note that there are various locations along the track where this assembly can be bolted. Depending on the number of track sections used, select a log clamp position that will securely hold the log against the log supports.

Step 6: Log Supports

Log supports can be installed into any bunk with a sleeve by sliding them down through the top of the sleeve and securing them with the T-bolt. The longer group is ideal for larger logs. Use the shorter key stop log support for milling smaller logs and square cants.

Step 7: Sawmill Head Assembly

Insert vertical post assemblies into corresponding locations in the head assembly.

Step 8: Sawmill Head Assembly (Continued)

Assemble the front vertical post to the wheel assembly using the two bolts and back plate. Repeat the same step for the other front vertical post assembly.

Step 9: Sawmill Head Assembly (Continued)

Lock the cam handles on both the square posts to prevent the head from moving when it is stood up. Ensure that when activating the cam handles, the clamps securely lock onto the square vertical post.

Step 10: Sawmill Head Assembly (Continued)

Slide the crossbeam into the round column. Then use bolts to assemble the top of the square tube column with the crossbeam.

Step 11: Cross Beam & Head Stops

Install the upper welding bracket, align the post holes with the corresponding black top cross support holes. Use a wrench to hold the nut and tighten the bolt. Install the connecting clamping plate, upper arch, and cable roller. Use a wrench to hold the nut and tighten the bolt.

Step 12: Lifting System and Water Tank

Install the lifting system and cooling box bracket on the beam. Use a wrench to hold the nut and tighten the bolt. Then place the water tank into the bracket.

Step 13: Log Scale

1. Install the ruler, using a wrench to hold the nut, tighten the bolt. 2. Install the square indicator rod to the sawmill using the two bolts and tighten. Slide the scale indicator over the square rod and tighten.

Step 14: Throttle Handle

Install the throttle handle and emergency switch on the square rod as shown.

Step 15: Lift Cable Routing

Route the cables on both sides as shown in the image.

Step 16: Transparent Water Pipe

Connect the water pipe.

Step 17: Electric Wire Connect

Connect the wiring plugs together.
