Product Overview
The Mi Air Purifier Pro is designed to improve indoor air quality. It features multiple sensors and modes for optimal performance.
Front View:
- Display: Shows air quality, temperature, humidity, Wi-Fi status, and operating mode.
- Power Button: Turns the unit on/off and cycles through operating modes.
- Light Sensor: Detects ambient light conditions.
Rear View:
- Fan Grilles: Top air outlet.
- Display On/Off & Filter Reset Button: Controls the display and resets the filter life indicator.
- Temperature and Humidity Sensor: Measures indoor temperature and humidity.
- Dust Sensor: Detects particulate matter in the air.
- Filter Compartment Cover: Access to the filter.
- Power Port: Connection for the power cable.
Usage
Correct Placement
For optimal performance, keep air inlets at least 20cm away from walls or other obstacles. Keep doors and windows closed during operation for more effective air purification.
Connecting to Power
- Open the Filter Compartment: Gently lift the handle on the back cover to open the filter compartment. Ensure the filter is locked in place.
- Remove the Power Cable: Remove the power cable and close the back cover.
- Connect to Power: Connect the power cable to the power port at the bottom of the unit and then plug it into a power outlet.
Power Button / Mode Operation
Press to turn the unit on or change the operating mode. Press and hold for 2 seconds to turn the unit off.
Display On/Off Button
Press the display on/off button on the back of the unit to turn the display on or off.
Display Information
The front display shows:
- Air Quality Indicator: Indicated by Green, Orange, and Red lights.
- Green: AQI 0 - 75
- Orange: AQI 76 - 150
- Red: AQI > 150
- Temperature
- Humidity
- Wi-Fi Indicator
- Operating Mode:
- Auto: Automatically adjusts settings based on air quality.
- Night Mode: Low-noise operation for sleep.
- Favorite: User-defined and saved cleaning mode, configurable via the app.
Connecting with the Smartphone App
Search for the "Mi Home" app on the Google Play Store (Android) or the App Store (iOS). Alternatively, scan the provided QR code to download the app. Open the app, go to "My Devices", and add the "Mi Air Purifier Pro" from the top right corner. The device can be found in the "Smart Device List".
Resetting the Wi-Fi Module
If you cannot connect your phone to the device, press and hold the power and light buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds. A beep sound indicates that the Wi-Fi has been successfully reset.
Filter Replacement
Replace the filter every 3 to 6 months. When the filter's lifespan is nearing its end, the indicator will display the remaining filter life each time the unit starts. For filter replacement, refer to the "Filter Replacement" label on the back of the filter compartment. Ensure the device is turned off and unplugged before performing these operations.
After replacement, turn on the unit. Press and hold the back button for 6 seconds until you hear an audible alert. This indicates successful filter replacement and resets the filter replacement timer. Note: Units with an RFID tag on the bottom do not require manual filter timer reset.
Note: When the filter becomes saturated with harmful gases, an odor may occur. Place the filter in a well-lit and ventilated area to eliminate odors.
Maintenance
Ensure the device is turned off and unplugged from the power supply before performing the following operations.
Cleaning the Filter Compartment
For optimal performance, use a vacuum cleaner or a soft cloth to remove dust from the air inlets or compartment walls.
Cleaning the Dust Sensor
As shown in the diagram, use a non-sharp tool to open the dust sensor's back cover. Use an air duster or blower to clean the filter and sensor. Note: Do not use hot air.

Warranty of Proper Operation
The Mi Air Purifier Pro you have just purchased comes with a Two (2) Year Warranty from Info Quest Technologies. Please read the warranty terms accompanying the product carefully. Info Quest Technologies provides technical support for selected Xiaomi products that it imports and distributes in the Greek market. These products have specific serial numbers and include a warranty document from Info Quest Technologies in their packaging. Info Quest Technologies warrants that during the warranty period, it will cover, with the means available, any defects the product may exhibit. A prerequisite for the warranty to be valid is that the product is used according to its intended purpose, in accordance with its specifications and characteristics, and under normal conditions.
Start of Warranty
The warranty begins on the date of purchase of the product, as evidenced by a valid receipt or invoice.
The Warranty is Valid Provided That:
- The unit's serial number is clearly legible and has not been tampered with.
- The product delivered to Info Quest Technologies' laboratories is accompanied by the legal proof of purchase – clearly stating the date and type of product – and a brief description of the defect.
The Warranty Ceases to be Valid When:
- The unit's serial number has been altered or tampered with.
- The defect is the result of modifications, improper connection, improper installation, or improper use.
- The defect was caused by accident, voltage fluctuations, moisture or fire, misuse, or neglect.
- Moisture has entered the product.
- Failures or defects of the unit or its accessories were caused by improper packaging or transportation.
- There are visible signs of dropping or tampering with the unit, such as scratches, stripped screws, damaged covers, etc.
The Warranty Does Not Cover:
- Normal wear and tear of the unit's external casing or damage caused by accidents, lightning, water, fire, improper ventilation, or use of incorrect voltage.
- Damage caused to the product by any modifications or adjustments not conforming to the product's technical specifications.
- Failures or defects from food or liquids, corrosion, pests, or use of incorrect voltage.
- Periodic maintenance and repair or replacement of parts as a result of natural wear.
- Travel expenses for on-site service.
- Installation of materials or equipment by third parties not authorized by Info Quest Technologies.
Transportation and Inspection Terms
- The transportation of Xiaomi products to and from the laboratories for repair is at the user's responsibility and expense.
- For the transportation of the product, the original packaging must be used, which should be kept in excellent condition to avoid damage during transport. Otherwise, Info Quest Technologies is not responsible for any damage to the unit during transport.
- In the event that, after technical inspection, it is determined that the defect is not covered by the warranty for the reasons stated above, the user will be charged for shipping and technical inspection costs. If the user wishes for the defect to be repaired despite it not being covered by the warranty, the repair costs will be borne by the user.
Other Terms
- Info Quest Technologies is in no event liable to the customer or any third party for any damages, including lost profits, consequential or other incidental or indirect damages, caused by the use or inability to use the product.
- The warranty is valid subject to the above terms, which the customer has been informed of and accepts.
- For any dispute that may arise, the courts of the company's headquarters are competent, and Greek Law shall apply.
