Warnings

• When the power adapter is damaged, it must be replaced with a genuine power adapter purchased from the manufacturer or after-sales service team.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
• Make sure the purifier is turned off and unplugged before performing the maintenance.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

Precautions

• Turn off and unplug the purifier before moving it.
• The purifier cannot turn on when the fan grille and the filter compartment cover are not installed properly.
• Maintain a distance of at least 20 cm between the air inlets and walls or other objects.
• Prior to cleaning or other maintenance, the appliance must be disconnected from the supply mains.
• Frequently remove dust, hair, and other particles from the outer mesh screen of the filter, so as to reduce the chance of bacteria growth.
• Remove dust, hair, and particles from the purifier's air inlets to prevent a reduction of air intake.
• Cover the air outlet to prevent dust, hair, and other particles from falling in when the purifier is left unused for a long time.

To avoid fire, electric shocks, or other damage, use the power adapter and electrical outlet as instructed below:

• Do not excessively pull, twist or bend the power adapter; otherwise, the cord's core may be exposed or broken.
• The power adapter must be plugged into a suitable electrical outlet.
• Use the power adapter that is provided with the purifier, do not use any third-party power adapters.
• Always unplug the purifier before carrying out maintenance to or moving the purifier.
• Immediately stop using the purifier when it makes unusual sounds, gives off bad odors, overheats, or its fan rotates irregularly.
• Do not stick your fingers or foreign objects into the protective parts, movable parts, air inlets, or air outlets.
• Keep objects such as hairs or fabrics away from the purifier to avoid blocking the air inlets or air outlets.
• Do not sit on, lean on or tilt the purifier.
• When using in conjunction with gas-fueled appliances (such as gas stoves, gas heaters), please ventilate sufficiently to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning.
• Do not pour liquids, nor throw powders or other small substances into the purifier's air outlet.
• Make sure no inflammable objects get into the purifier.

Do not use the purifier in the following circumstances to avoid electric shocks, fire, or other damage:

• Near open flames, such as candles, incense burners, stoves, fireplaces, cigarettes, firecrackers, lighters, multipurpose torches, candle lighters, or fire pans.
• Near appliances that generate high temperatures, such as electric heaters, fan heaters, electric foot warmers, electric stoves, or electric irons.
• In unstable locations where the purifier can easily fall over.
• In environments that are extremely hot, humid, or damp, such as bathrooms.

Product Overview

Read this manual carefully before use, and retain it for future reference.

Front View Description: The front view shows the purifier with its top grille, display panel, mode switch button, on/standby button, and light adjustment button. The Xiaomi logo is visible on the lower part of the main body.

Rear View Description: The rear view shows the purifier with the particle sensor located on the lower section and the power port.

Display Instructions

The display panel provides information about the air quality and device status.

Air Quality Indicator

The indicator will display green, yellow, orange, or red according to the PM2.5 value:

• Green: 1–35 µg/m³
• Yellow: 36–75 µg/m³
• Orange: 76–150 µg/m³
• Red: >150 µg/m³

Mode Indicator

The mode indicator shows the current operating mode:

• (A) Automatic: Automatically switches modes according to the indoor air quality.
• Sleep: Operates with ultra-low noise for a comfortable sleeping environment.
• Manual: Allows setting and saving the coverage area in the app to adjust purifying efficiency.

Other Indicators and Buttons:

• Light Adjustment Button: Controls the display brightness (on, dim, off).
• Child Lock Indicator: Shows if the child lock function is enabled.
• Wi-Fi Indicator: Shows the Wi-Fi connection status.
• Filter Exhaustion Indicator: Blinks when the filter needs replacement.
• On/Standby Button: Turns the purifier on or puts it into standby mode.
• Mode Switch Button: Cycles through different operating modes.

How to Install

Placing the purifier

For optimal performance, ensure a distance of at least 20 cm between the purifier's air inlets and walls or other objects.

Connecting to an electrical outlet

Connect the power cord to the purifier's power port and then plug it into an electrical outlet.

Note: It is recommended to keep doors and windows closed for a better purifying effect when using the purifier.

How to Use

Turning on/standby

Press the on/standby button to turn the purifier on or put it into standby mode.

Switching mode

While the purifier is on, press the mode switch button to cycle through the available modes.

Adjusting the display's brightness

Press the light adjustment button to cycle through its brightness levels: on, dim, and off.

Resetting Wi-Fi

• When connecting the purifier to the app for the first time or if unable to connect, press and hold the light adjustment button for 7 seconds. The purifier will make a notification sound, and the Wi-Fi indicator will blink upon successful reset.
• Once the Wi-Fi is connected successfully, the Wi-Fi indicator will remain lit.
• If the Wi-Fi connection fails after a timeout, the Wi-Fi indicator will go out.

Enabling/disabling the child lock function

• To enable or disable the child lock, press and hold the mode switch button for 7 seconds.
• The child lock indicator is on when the child lock function is enabled, and is off when the function is disabled.

Filter exhaustion reminder

When the filter is exhausted, the filter exhaustion indicator on the display will blink.

Care & Maintenance

Warning: Make sure the purifier is turned off and the power adapter is unplugged before performing any maintenance operations.

Replacing the filter

Remove the old filter and install a new one correctly. The process involves opening the filter compartment, removing the old filter, and inserting the new one.

Connecting with the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app

This product works with the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app. Control your device via the app. Scan the QR code to download and install the app. If the app is already installed, you will be directed to the connection setup page. Alternatively, search for "Mi Home/Xiaomi Home" in your app store. Open the app, tap "+" on the upper right, and follow the instructions to add your device.

Note: The app may be updated; follow instructions based on the current app version. The app is referred to as Xiaomi Home app in Europe (except Russia).

Resetting the filter

While the purifier is on standby, press and hold the on/standby button for 7 seconds. Upon successful reset, the purifier will emit a notification sound, and the air quality indicator will remain green for 1 second.

Note: It is recommended to replace the filter every 6 to 12 months. Purchase genuine and compatible filters from official channels.

Cleaning the filter compartment

To ensure optimal ventilation and purification, use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust from the air inlets and filter compartment, or gently wipe these areas with a soft cloth.

Note: Do not rinse or spray the purifier directly with water, or wipe it with a soaking wet cloth.

Cleaning the particle sensor

Use a non-sharp tool to open the particle sensor cover. Use an air blow gun or hair dryer to clean the filter on the cover and the sensor. It is suggested to use a dry cotton swab to gently wipe dust from the sensor every half year.

Note: Do not use hot air.

Warranty Notice

This warranty grants specific rights, which may be supplemented by local laws. Xiaomi does not exclude, limit, or suspend other rights you may have.

1. Limited Product Warranty

Xiaomi warrants that Products are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, as per the user manual, during the Warranty Period. Duration and conditions are governed by local laws. Xiaomi warrants to the original purchaser that its products will be free from defects under normal use. Xiaomi does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation and is not liable for damages from non-compliance with instructions.

2. Remedies

If a hardware defect is found and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, Xiaomi will, at its option, (1) repair the product, (2) replace the product, or (3) refund the product (excluding shipping costs).

3. How to Obtain Warranty Service

To obtain warranty service, deliver the Product in its original or similar packaging to the address specified by Xiaomi. Xiaomi may require proof of purchase and/or registration details.

4. Exclusions and Limitations

This Limited Warranty applies only to products manufactured by or for Xiaomi. It does not apply to damages caused by:

• Acts of nature (lightning, floods, fire, etc.)
• Negligence
• Commercial use
• Alterations or modifications
• Use with non-Xiaomi products
• Accident, abuse, or misuse
• Operating outside permitted uses or with improper voltage/power supply
• Service performed by non-authorized personnel

Xiaomi is not responsible for backup of data, software, or other materials stored on the product.

No reseller, agent, or employee of Xiaomi is authorized to modify this warranty. If any term is illegal or unenforceable, the rest remain valid. After-sales services are limited to the country/region of original purchase unless otherwise stated by Xiaomi. Products not duly imported, manufactured, or acquired from Xiaomi or its official seller are not covered. Warranties may not apply in Hong Kong and Taiwan.

5. Implied Warranties

Implied warranties (merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose) are limited in duration to the maximum duration of this limited warranty, as permitted by law. Some jurisdictions may not allow these limitations.

6. Damage Limitation

Xiaomi shall not be liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages (including loss of profits, revenue, or data) arising from breach of warranty or any other legal theory, even if informed of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions may not allow these exclusions.
