5. Care and Maintenance
To ensure perfect hygiene and proper functioning of your respiratory trainer, please follow these instructions:
- Always ensure your device is dry before storing it.
- Store your respiratory trainer in a suitable, clean, and safe place.
Maintenance
As the respiratory trainer is exposed to saliva during use, it is imperative to clean it frequently. We recommend cleaning it with hot water (maximum 60°C) after each training session. Once a week, use a drop of dish soap to wash your respiratory trainer. After cleaning, shake it and blow on it to remove excess water. Do not use an autoclave or dishwasher to clean the Airofit Active respiratory trainer.
6. Intended Use and Users
The Airofit Active respiratory trainer is designed to train the respiratory muscles. Training should always be done while seated, as it can cause dizziness. Look straight ahead during training. Airofit Active should not be used during physical activity, as respiratory training during exercise reduces oxygenation of the locomotor muscles.
Place the device in your mouth so that your lips cover the outer shield of the mouthpiece to create a seal. The inner block should be held between your teeth. Look straight ahead, as looking down may cause you to salivate more. You do not need to hold the Airofit Active respiratory trainer with your hands during training, unless necessary.
The intended users are:
- The user of the Airofit Active respiratory trainer and the Airofit mobile application.
- Persons responsible for training the user of the Airofit Active respiratory trainer.
