1. Important Safety Instructions
When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
- The appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised or instructed regarding the use of the appliance in a safe manner and understand the risks. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be performed by children without supervision.
- Clear the area to be cleaned. Remove power cords and small objects from the floor that can get caught in the appliance. Tuck in carpet edges under the carpet and lift items such as curtains and drapes from the floor.
- If there is a risk of falling in the cleaning area due to a step or stairs, the appliance should be used to ensure it can detect steps without falling over the edge. It may be necessary to place a physical barrier at the edge to prevent the appliance from falling. Ensure the physical barrier is not a tripping hazard.
- Use only as described in this manual. Use only recommended accessories or those sold by the manufacturer.
- Ensure your mains voltage matches the voltage marked on the charging unit.
- FOR HOUSEHOLD USE INDOORS ONLY. Do not use the appliance outdoors, or in commercial or industrial environments.
- Non-rechargeable batteries are prohibited. For battery information, see the Specifications section.
- Do not use without the dustbin and/or filters in place.
- Do not use the appliance in an area with lit candles or fragile items.
- Do not use in extremely hot or cold environments (below -5°C/23°F or above 40°C/104°F).
- Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of the body away from all openings and moving parts.
- Do not use the appliance in a room where an infant or a child is sleeping.
- Do not use the appliance on wet surfaces or surfaces with standing water.
- Do not let the appliance pick up large objects such as stones, large pieces of paper, or objects that can clog the appliance.
- Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible materials such as gasoline, printer or copier toner, or for use in areas where they may be present.
- Do not use the appliance to pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, hot ashes, or anything that may cause a fire.
- Do not place objects in the intake. Do not use if the intake is blocked. Keep the intake clear of dust, lint, hair, or anything that may reduce airflow.
- Be careful not to damage the cord. Do not pull or carry the appliance or charging unit by the power cord, do not use the power cord as a handle, do not close a door on the power cord, or do not pull the power cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not run the appliance over the power cord. Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service workshop to avoid danger.
- Never use the charging unit if it is damaged.
- Do not use with a damaged power cord or container. Do not use the appliance or charging unit if it is not functioning properly, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or come into contact with water. It must be repaired by the manufacturer or its service workshop to avoid danger.
- Turn OFF the power switch before cleaning or maintenance of the appliance.
- The plug must be removed from the container before cleaning or maintenance of the charging unit.
- Remove the appliance from the charging unit, and turn OFF the appliance's power switch before removing the battery for disposal of the appliance.
- The battery must be removed and disposed of in accordance with local laws and regulations before disposing of the appliance.
- Dispose of used batteries in accordance with local laws and regulations.
- Do not incinerate the appliance even if it is severely damaged. The batteries may explode in case of fire.
- When not using the charging unit for an extended period, please unplug it.
- The appliance must be used in accordance with the instructions in this user manual. ECOVACS ROBOTICS cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by improper use.
- The robot contains batteries that can only be replaced by competent persons. To replace or remove the battery, contact customer service.
- If the robot is not to be used for a long period, fully charge the robot and turn it OFF for storage, and unplug the charging unit.
- WARNING: For charging the battery, only the detachable unit YJS015F-1900600G supplied with the product should be used.
- The remote control is pre-installed with two non-rechargeable AAA batteries. To replace the battery in the remote control, turn the remote control over, press and remove its battery cover. Remove the batteries and insert the new batteries with the correct polarity. Reattach the battery cover.
- Non-rechargeable batteries must not be recharged.
- Different types of batteries or new and used batteries must not be mixed.
- The batteries in the remote control must be inserted with the correct polarity.
- Used batteries shall be removed from the appliance and disposed of safely.
- If the appliance is to be stored unused for a long period, the batteries should be removed.
- The connection terminals must not be short-circuited.
- To deactivate the Wi-Fi module on the DEEBOT, turn the robot ON. Place the robot on the charging dock and ensure the charging contacts on the DEEBOT and the charging dock pins are in contact with each other. Press and hold the AUTO mode button on the robot for 10 seconds until the DEEBOT emits 3 beeps. To activate the Wi-Fi module on the DEEBOT, turn OFF the robot and then turn it ON. The Wi-Fi module is enabled when the DEEBOT restarts.

2.3 Product Parts
Robot
- AUTO Mode Button: The main button for starting/pausing cleaning.
- Wi-Fi Indicator: Shows Wi-Fi connection status.
- Cleaning Mode Indicator: Indicates the current cleaning mode.
- Anti-collision Sensors and Shock Absorbers: Located on the front bumper to detect obstacles.
- Dustbin/Release Button: For removing the dustbin.
- Power Switch: Located on the side of the robot.
- Reset Button: Used for network configuration.
Underside
- Main Brush Assembly: The primary brush for sweeping debris.
- Charging Contacts: Metal contacts that connect to the charging dock.
- Fall Sensors: Detect edges to prevent falls.
- Dustbin: The compartment for collected dust.
- Side Brushes: Small brushes that sweep debris towards the main brush.
- Universal Wheel: A swivel wheel for maneuverability.
3. Usage and Programming
3.1 Before Cleaning
WARNING: Do not use DEEBOT on wet surfaces or surfaces with standing water.

- Prevent Falls: To prevent the appliance from falling down edges, it may be necessary to place physical barriers. [Visual: Robot near a drop-off with a barrier placed ✔️]

3.2 Setup
- Connect the Adapter: Plug the power adapter into the charging dock and then into a wall outlet.
- Place the Charging Dock: Position the charging dock against a wall on a level surface. Ensure there is adequate clearance: 0.5m (1.6 ft) on both sides and 1.5m (5 ft) in front. [Visual: Diagram showing the charging dock placement with clearance dimensions.]
- Attach Side Brushes: Align the side brushes with the corresponding posts on the underside of the robot and press down until they click into place. [Visual: Diagrams showing side brushes being attached.]

- Charge DEEBOT: Place the DEEBOT onto the charging dock. The robot will automatically return to the charging dock when the cleaning cycle is finished or when the battery level is low. [Visual: Robot on charging dock, with a 4-hour charging indicator.]
3.3 Cleaning Mode Selection
1 AUTO Cleaning Mode
A random cleaning pattern (optimized for carpets) is selected by default.
To switch to a programmed cleaning pattern (optimized for hard floors) or to switch between these two patterns, do the following:
- Press the AUTO button for random cleaning. [Visual: Finger pressing the AUTO button.]

Note: The cleaning pattern cannot be changed until the DEEBOT is in pause mode or charging. DEEBOT will start a new cleaning cycle as soon as the cleaning pattern is changed. The programmed cleaning mode indicator lights up as soon as it is activated.
3.4 Spot Cleaning Mode (less than 3 minutes)
This mode is for cleaning a concentrated area. The robot will clean in a spiral pattern.

3.5 Return to Charging Dock
The robot can be instructed to return to its charging dock at any time.
- Press and hold the AUTO button for 3 seconds until the DEEBOT emits a beep. [Visual: Finger pressing and holding the AUTO button.]
- Alternatively, press the "Return to Charger" button on the remote control. [Visual: Finger pressing the return-to-charger button on the remote.]
All the above functions can also be activated via the app. Download the ECOVACS app for access to more features such as edge cleaning, scheduled cleaning, etc.

Compatibility: iOS 9.0 or later, Android 4.0 or later.
3.6 Pause, Wake, Power Off
1 Pause
Press the AUTO button to pause the robot.

Note: The robot's control panel will dim when the robot has been in pause mode for a few minutes. Press the AUTO mode button on the DEEBOT to wake the robot.
2 Wake
Press the AUTO button on the DEEBOT to wake it.

3 Power Off
Flip the power switch on the robot to the OFF position.

Note: When DEEBOT is not in use, it is recommended to leave it powered on for charging.
3.7 Optional Mopping System
Note: Empty the dustbin and remove the cleaning cloth plate before cleaning on carpets. When using the mopping system, tuck in carpet edges underneath so that the DEEBOT avoids the carpet. Use only water, and do not add detergent or other cleaning agents to the dustbin.

Note: Empty any remaining water from the dustbin after the DEEBOT has finished mopping.
4. Maintenance
Before cleaning or performing maintenance on the DEEBOT: Turn OFF the robot and unplug the charging unit.
4.1 Optional Mopping System Maintenance

4.2 Dustbin and Filters
Dustbin:
- Remove the dustbin from the robot. [Visual: Diagram showing dustbin removal.]

- Empty the dust and debris into a trash receptacle. [Visual: Diagram showing dust being emptied from the dustbin.]
- Clean the filter net, foam filter, and high-efficiency filter. Ensure they are completely dry before reinserting. [Visual: Diagrams showing the filters being removed and cleaned.]

4.3 Main Brush and Side Brushes
Note: A multi-functional cleaning tool is included to simplify maintenance. The cleaning tool has sharp edges and must be handled with care.
Main Brush

Side Brushes

4.4 Other Parts

4.5 Regular Maintenance
For optimal DEEBOT performance, maintenance and part replacement should be performed as follows:

5. Indicator Lamp and Sound Signals
The DEEBOT indicates errors via an indicator lamp and sound signals. More detailed support is available via the ECOVACS app and online on the website.
