General Information

The TROX TFP is a pharmaceutical clean room terminal filter designed for ceiling installation. It serves as a final filter stage and is used for air distribution in highly sensitive areas such as the pharmaceutical industry, medicine, and biology. The device is engineered for separating suspended particles like aerosols, toxic dusts, viruses, and bacteria from supply or extract air.

Variants

The TFP series offers several variants based on spigot type and mounting:

TC-S: Top entry circular spigot, with top lateral suspension lugs.
TC-FC: Top entry circular spigot, with supports for mounting in false ceilings.
SC-S: Side entry circular spigot, top lateral suspension lugs.
SC-FC: Side entry circular spigot, with supports for mounting in false ceilings.
SCR-S: Side entry circular spigot, removable, with top lateral suspension lug.
SCR-FC: Side entry circular spigot, removable, with supports for mounting in false ceilings.

Construction and Materials

Construction: Welded filter casing with a sealing frame for filter elements, featuring a seal on the downstream side. Includes mounted pressure measuring points for monitoring operating differential pressure and an internal measuring tube.
Materials and Surfaces: Casing and diffuser face plate are made of sheet steel, powder-coated in RAL 9010 (pure white).

Function and Maintenance

The filter element is installed with a fluid seal on the downstream side and secured by four patented turn clips. The air diffusers are hinged and held by magnets, requiring no additional tools for operation. The diffuser face can be hinged down for easy disassembly and cleaning. Cleaning is possible even with the particulate filter installed.
