Camera Installation
Find a Good Mounting Location
To find a suitable mounting location for your wireless security camera, you need to check the Wi-Fi signal strength.
- Open the 'aosu' app and navigate to Camera Settings > Mounting Guide.
- To test the Wi-Fi signal strength, take the camera and your phone to the location where you want to install the camera.
If the wireless network is weak, move the camera closer to the HomeBase.

Choose Height and Location
Mount the wireless security camera 7-10 ft (2-3 m) above the ground. This height optimizes motion sensor detection for the wireless security camera. Do not place the wireless security camera in direct sunlight.

Mounting the Camera
The camera can be mounted indoors or outdoors.
- Drill holes using a 15/64 inch (5.95 mm) drill bit, then insert anchors. Anchors are required for walls made of hard materials such as concrete, brick, or stucco. Attach the mounting base to the wall.
