Installation Instructions
Follow these instructions carefully to install your PROFLO Pull-down Kitchen Faucet.
Cautionary Tips
Always turn off the water supply before removing the existing faucet or replacing any part of the faucet. Open the faucet handle to relieve water pressure and ensure that water is completely shut off.
Care Instructions
To preserve the finish of your faucet, apply non-abrasive wax. Any cleaners should be rinsed off immediately. Do not use abrasive cleaners on the faucet.

Installation Steps
Step 1: Base Assembly
1a. Install the base ring with washer (1) to the bottom of the spout. If installing the faucet with an escutcheon (decorative plate), begin with step 1b.
1b. Install the base ring with washer (1) to the bottom of the spout. Place the escutcheon assembly (2) onto the faucet.
Step 2: Mounting the Faucet
Place the new faucet through the hole in the top of the sink. From under the sink, slide the seal washer (1), metal washer (2), and mounting nut (3) onto the threaded shank. Hand-tighten the nut onto the shank. Secure the nuts in position by tightening screws (4).
Step 3: Connecting the Hose
Install the quick connector (1) to the outlet hose (2).
Step 4: Attaching the Pull-Down Hose and Weight
Install the pull-down hose (1) to the quick connector (2). Press the retainer clip of the quick connector (2) with your hand for a secure connection. Attach the weight (3) to the appropriate location on the pull-down hose (1).
Step 5: Connecting Water Supplies
Connect the faucet to the water supplies using hot and cold angle valves.
Step 6: Checking Stream Function
Turn on the faucet handle to check the operation. This handle position is for the stream function.
Step 7: Checking Spray Function
Press the spray head button to switch to the other position, as indicated by an arrow, to check for operation. This position is for the spray function.
Maintenance
If the faucet leaks from the spout outlet, shut off the water supplies and replace the cartridge (1). Ensure the cartridge (1) is installed correctly for proper handle rotation.
