Product Overview

The TOWILD CL450 is a lightweight and compact smart bicycle front light. It features a maximum brightness of 450 lumens, TYPE-C charging, and a built-in 900mAh lithium-ion battery. Key functionalities include power management, vibration sensing, temperature control technology, and an IPX-6 waterproof design. Its small and compact size, combined with rich functions, makes it ideal for cyclists on roads, mountain off-road, and other occasions, providing a more pleasant lighting experience.

Installation

The installation process involves attaching the light to a handlebar mount. First, secure the mount to the handlebar. Then, slide the light onto the mount and secure it. The diagram illustrates the steps of connecting the light to its bracket and then attaching the bracket to the bicycle handlebar.

  1. Attach the handlebar mount to the bicycle handlebar.
  2. Slide the CL450 light onto the secured mount.
  3. Secure the light to the mount.

Operation Instructions

To switch the light on or off, long press the button for 0.5 seconds.

  1. When the light is on:
    • Single-click to cycle through modes: Low → Medium → High.
    • Double-click to enter warning mode. In warning mode, single-click to cycle between Night Warning (breathing) and Day Warning. Double-click again to return to general modes.
  2. Both General mode and Warning mode settings can be memorized.

Intelligent Mode & Manual Mode

With the light off, long press the switch for 3 seconds to toggle between Manual Mode and Intelligent Mode. The main light will flash once to confirm the switch. The indicator light is blue for Intelligent Mode and green for Manual Mode.

In Intelligent Mode, if the light is on and detects no vibration for 120 seconds, it will automatically turn off and then turn back on when vibration is detected.

Intelligent Temperature Control

When the temperature sensor detects that the internal temperature of the lamp head reaches 65°C, the high-brightness gear will automatically reduce to the middle gear for safety. The duration of high-brightness mode is an accumulated time.

Power Display

When the light is off, a single click of the power button displays the battery level for 3 seconds before turning off. When the light is on, the power level is displayed in real-time.

Low Power Warning ⚠️

When the battery power is below 10%, the main light will flash four times quickly to prompt the user to charge the device promptly, preventing battery damage or reduced lifespan. The main light will flash four times every 30 seconds until the battery voltage drops below 2.8V, at which point the battery will turn off.

Charging Instruction ⚡

Connect the front light to a computer or power adapter using the charging cable. Charging will begin within 2 seconds. The maximum charging current is 1A. During charging, the red indicator light will flash to show the charging status. When fully charged, the indicator light will turn green (Manual Mode) or blue (Intelligent Mode). Full charging time is approximately 2 hours, but may vary depending on battery capacity. The light can be switched on and off with low brightness and flashing gears during charging (no other hidden functions are available).
