Step 1 - Connecting the DOCK to your TV
Determine what types of audio ports you have. Do NOT turn anything on.
TV Audio Out Options
OPTION 1: Digital OPTICAL/TOSLINK/SPDIF - Recommended!
Connect the OPTICAL OUT port on your TV to the OPTICAL IN port on the Avantree dock using the provided optical audio cable.
OPTION 2: AUX 3.5mm/ Headphone Out
Connect the headphone jack or AUX OUT port on your TV to the AUX IN port on the Avantree dock using the provided AUX 3.5mm audio cable.
OPTION 3: Red/White RCA Audio Out*
*NOTE: The Red & White RCA ports must be labeled "AUDIO OUT" to work.
Connect the Red and White RCA AUDIO OUT ports on your TV to the AUX IN port on the Avantree dock using the provided AUX 3.5mm to RCA audio cable.

OPTION 4: Can't Reach / Do Not Have Output Ports on TV?
If your TV lacks standard audio output ports, consult the full manual or Avantree support for alternative connection methods.
OPTION 5: If You Have a Soundbar or AV Receiver
Connect the audio output (Optical, AUX, or RCA) of your Soundbar or AV Receiver to the Avantree dock using the appropriate cable.
Step 2 Connecting the Earphone to the Transmitter Dock
Part 1. Connect the transmitter dock to a power source.
We recommend connecting it to a wall outlet using a USB wall adapter (not included). The dock requires 5V/500mA - 2A.

Part 2 - Follow instructions below to power everything on.
Ensure the transmitter dock is powered on. The power/signal indicator (?) should be lit.
The earphone should automatically connect to the dock. The power/signal indicator (?) on the earphone will turn solid green when connected.
Earphone Controls
Ambient Function ?
Press the Ambient button (⑬) to amplify surrounding sounds, allowing you to hear conversations or announcements without removing the earphones. Press again to turn it off.
L/R Volume Control ↔️
Use the Volume control (⑮) on the earphone to adjust the audio volume. The Left/Right audio balance can be adjusted via the switch on the dock (⑨) or the earphone itself, depending on the model.
Indicators:
- Earphone Power/Signal Indicator (14): Solid Green - Connected to base; Flashing Red - Searching for base; Solid Red - Ambient mode ON.
- Transmitter Dock Power/Signal Indicator (1): Solid Green - Powered on and connected; Flashing Red - Searching for earphone.
- Charging Indicators (②, ④, ⑤): Show charging status for the dock, neck-loop receiver, or spare batteries.
- Mode Indicator (⑦): Indicates the operating mode of the dock.
Part 3 - TV Setting
Use your TV remote to go into your TV's SETTINGS MENU. Set TV Audio Format to PCM/Stereo. Do NOT select AUTO, DOLBY, or BITSTREAM!
Example TV Settings:
- Sound -> Audio Out -> Optical Out / Digital Audio Format
- Set to: PCM/Stereo
- Ensure Dolby is set to Off.
