Wall / Shelf Mounting
The ICX-510 can be mounted on any flat surface using the IA-MB1 Mounting Bracket. The following is the procedure for wall mounting:
- Mount the bracket: Attach the mounting bracket to the wall using appropriate screws (e.g., 3x Nylon Plugs 5 mm and 3x Flat Head Washer Screws, Ø4.2 x 25 mm). Ensure the bracket is level.
- Attach the unit: Slide the ICX-510 onto the mounting bracket. The unit is secured by 4 mounting clips.
Note: For wood or steel surfaces, skip the nylon plugs and use appropriate screws.
Rack Mounting
Use the IA-RS1 Rack Shelf for mounting the ICX-510 into a 19" 1HU rack. Two ICX-510 units can be placed side by side on the rack shelf.
- Place the unit: Position the ICX-510 onto the IA-RS1 rack shelf.
- Secure the unit: Use the provided mounting clips to secure the ICX-510 to the rack shelf.
Note: A blanking front can be inserted into an unused position if only one slot is required.
Installation
- Network Connection: Connect the ICX-510 to the IP network using an Ethernet cable plugged into Ethernet Port 1.
- Power Supply: Mount the IPS-AC1 power supply on a DIN rail and connect the power cables. The power input is 100-240VAC.
- Ferrite: Before connecting the cable to the ICX-510, attach the included Snap On Ferrite (EMKOB99121) near the end of the cable.
- Connect ICX-510: Connect the power cable to the ICX-510, then connect the power supply to a 100-240VAC power source.
Start Up
- Power Up: Power up the ICX-510.
- Observe LEDs: During startup, the Power LED and Fault LED will be lit. When operational, the green Status LED will start flashing.
- Connect Laptop: Connect a laptop to Ethernet port 0 using an Ethernet cable.
