Performance Characteristics
Derating Curve
The derating curve illustrates the relationship between the load percentage and the ambient temperature (Ta) for the DC-DC converters. It shows that for single output voltages (3.3Vo/5Vo/±5Vo), the maximum load capacity is maintained up to a certain temperature, after which derating is required. For other outputs, derating begins at lower temperatures. The curve indicates operation under natural convection and highlights the need for derating at higher ambient temperatures to prevent overheating and ensure reliability.
EMC Suggestion Circuit
To meet BS EN/EN55032 radiated Class B standards, the following external components are recommended:
- For SCWN03W8 and DCWN03W8: A capacitor C1 (2.2μF/100V) and an inductor L1 (12μH) are required.
