BrosTrend Dual Band WiFi Extender E1 Quick Installation Guide

This guide provides instructions for setting up your BrosTrend Dual Band WiFi Extender, Model E1.

Method 1: Extend Your WiFi Network via Web UI

Plug the extender into an electrical outlet in the same room as your existing WiFi router. Wait until the PWR LED is solid blue.
Connect your WiFi device to the extender's WiFi network BrosTrend_EXT. Ensure that the mobile data function of your WiFi device is disabled.
After connecting to BrosTrend_EXT, you will be directed to the quick setup page. If not, start a web browser and enter re.brostrend.com or 192.168.0.254 in the address bar. Create a login password for future logins (recommended). Note: Please do not enter re.brostrend.com in the search bar of your browser.
Select a WiFi network (SSID) you want to extend.
Enter the password for the WiFi network you want to extend. The extended WiFi network's password will be the same as your existing WiFi network.
Plug the extender into an electrical outlet halfway between your WiFi router and the WiFi dead zone. Wait until the Signal LED turns on.
Connect your WiFi devices to the extended networks which come with your existing network name and suffixes of _EXT/_5GEXT. The WiFi password by default is the same as your existing WiFi network.

Method 2: Extend Your WiFi Network via WPS Button

Plug the extender into an electrical outlet in the same room as your existing WiFi router. Wait until the PWR LED is solid blue.
Press the WPS button on your router and within 2 minutes press the WPS button on the extender. The WPS LED on the extender starts blinking. Wait until the Signal LED turns on. If the Signal LED does not turn on, reset the extender and try Method 1.
Plug the extender into an electrical outlet halfway between your WiFi router and the WiFi dead zone. Wait until the Signal LED turns on.
Connect your WiFi devices to the extended networks which come with your existing network name and suffixes of _EXT/_5GEXT. The WiFi password by default is the same as your existing WiFi network.

LED Descriptions

LED	Status	Description
PWR LED	Solid on	The extender is powered on.
	Blinking	The extender is starting.
	Off	The extender is powered off.
WPS LED	Blinking	Trying to set up connection with WiFi router via WPS.
	Off	WPS connection is completed or not activated.
Signal LED	Solid blue	Best connection between the extender and your WiFi router.
	Solid red	Not optimal connection between the extender and your WiFi router. Please relocate the extender closer to your WiFi router.
	Off	No connection between the extender and your WiFi router. Please relocate the extender closer to your WiFi router.
