Intended use of this guide The HAMILTON-C6 ventilator is intended to provide positive pressure ventilatory support to adults and pediatrics, and optionally infants and neonates. Intended areas of use: · Health care facilities · During transfer of ventilated patients within health care facilities The HAMILTON-C6 ventilator is a medical device intended for use by qualified, trained personnel under the direction of a physician and within the limits of its stated technical specifications. Order the power cable specific to the mains power outlet of your country. A 3-meter (PN 160785) or a 10-meter (PN 160786) VU-IP cable is also available. Safety information Turn off the VU and disconnect the power cable from the mains power supply before you start the installation. Tests and checks after installation You must do the electrical safety tests after the initial installation of the HAMILTON-C6 ventilator.
