Assembly Preparation
Tools Required: The following tools are recommended for assembly: a pencil, a spirit level, a screwdriver, and a measuring tape. ?
Assembly Methods:
- Incorrect: Do not use a hammer to force parts together when they are stacked.
- Correct: Two people should work together to assemble the unit.
Handling:
- Incorrect: Avoid placing heavy objects or sitting on the product during assembly, especially if it is not yet secured to the wall.
- Correct: Assemble the unit on a soft surface, such as a rug or blanket, to prevent scratching or damage to the product.

- 2x Long wooden support pieces (Part No. 121180)
- 2x Cylindrical connectors/dowels (Part No. 121029)
- 1x Hex key (Part No. 100006)
- 6x Screws (Part No. 100825)
- 12x Screws (Part No. 100224)
- 2x Mounting brackets (Part No. 121179)
- 4x Small screws (Part No. 100825) - used with brackets
Assembly Steps
Step 1
Attach the two mounting brackets (121179) to one of the long wooden support pieces (121180) using four small screws (100825). Then, attach this bracketed support piece to the slatted panel using two screws (100825) and two cylindrical connectors (121029).
Step 2
Attach a second long wooden support piece (121180) to the slatted panel using two screws (100825) and two cylindrical connectors (121029).
Step 3
Attach the third long wooden support piece (121180) to the slatted panel using two screws (100825) and two cylindrical connectors (121029).
Step 4
Insert the remaining six slatted panels into the corresponding grooves on the assembled frame. Use the hex key (100006) and twelve screws (100224) to securely attach the assembled unit to the wall. The diagram illustrates the process of screwing the unit into the wall using the provided hex key.
Step 5
The assembled headboard unit has a total width of 196 cm (approximately 77 3/16 inches). Position the unit on the wall at your desired height.
Step 6
Secure the headboard to the wall using appropriate wall fixings (not included). The diagram shows two points where the unit should be fastened to the wall, typically with screws and wall plugs.
Step 7
With assistance from another person, carefully lift and position the assembled headboard against the wall. Ensure it is firmly and securely attached.
