Introducing "Jujutsu Tamagotchi"
Bandai Co., Ltd. (President & CEO: Kazuhiko Kashiwagi, Head Office: Taito-ku, Tokyo) announced the release of "Jujutsu Tamagotchi" (5 designs, ¥2,530 incl. tax / ¥2,300 excl. tax) on January 29, 2022 (Saturday). This product is a collaboration between the popular TV anime "Jujutsu Kaisen" and Bandai's portable育成 toy (raising toy) series, "Tamagotchi nano". The target audience is individuals aged 10-30, and it will be available at toy stores nationwide, department stores, electronics retailers, and online shops.
The concept for this product is "Raise them with your hands, exorcise curses!" Players can enjoy training and raising a "beginner sorcerer" to become a student or teacher at Jujutsu High School. The main unit comes in 5 different colors, each designed to represent a character.

About Tamagotchi nano
Launched in 1996 as a portable raising toy, the "Tamagotchi" series has expanded globally and has sold over 83 million units worldwide as of March 2021. "Tamagotchi nano" has collaborated with various intellectual properties (IPs), releasing titles such as "Eva Tamagotchi" (Evangelion) and "Kimetsu Tamagotchi" (Demon Slayer), which have been well-received by a wide range of generations for allowing them to enjoy the Tamagotchi gameplay while experiencing the world of their favorite works.
In the year marking Tamagotchi's 25th anniversary, Bandai is also releasing products featuring characters with strong fan bases like "BT21" and "PUI PUI Molcar", the anniversary collaboration "Kamen Rider Tamagotchi" for "Kamen Rider's" 50th anniversary, and "R2-D2 Tamagotchi" from "Star Wars". 1. Unique Character Growth
The characters that grow will change depending on how you train your beginner sorcerer. There are 16 types of characters to raise, including main characters like Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, and Satoru Gojo, as well as characters like Kento Nanami who supports the students.

The game allows players to raise these characters, and even characters like Satoru Gojo can be raised.
2. Immersive "Jujutsu Kaisen" World
To allow players to enjoy the world of "Jujutsu Kaisen" while playing, the "meals" include "rice balls", and the "snacks" feature "Kikufuku", Satoru Gojo's favorite. The 3 types of mini-games for training are all based on scenes and characters from the anime. Players can also exorcise curses that suddenly attack their currently raised character.

3. Diverse Character Appearances
In addition to the 16 characters that can be raised, various other characters such as Suguru Geto and Masamichi Yaga appear, recreating famous scenes from the anime. Furthermore, special scenes featuring Satoru Gojo are available during training, allowing players to enjoy the "Jujutsu Kaisen" world beyond just the raising gameplay.

A set featuring "Jujutsu Tamagotchi" and a Sofubi figure is now available on Premium Bandai! The "Jujutsu Tamagotchi Hugmy Tamagotchi Set" (¥4,400 incl. 10% tax / ¥4,000 excl. tax / shipping and handling fees separate, scheduled for January 2022 delivery) will be sold on Bandai Namco Group's official e-commerce site "Premium Bandai" and other select stores. The product's name comes from the cute appearance of characters hugging the "Jujutsu Tamagotchi". Players can remove the "Jujutsu Tamagotchi" from the Sofubi figure and swap them to hug different characters.
