Important Safety and Environmental Instructions
This section includes safety instructions that will help you protect yourself against bodily harm and material losses. Failure to comply with these instructions will invalidate the warranty provided.
1.1 Risk of Electric Shock
Danger to life from electric current! Contact with live cables or components can lead to serious bodily injury or even death!
Observe the following safety measures to avoid electric shocks:
- Do not use the coffee machine if the power cable or plug is damaged.
- Before reusing the coffee machine, the power cable must be replaced by a qualified electrician.
- Do not open the coffee machine casing. Risk of electric shock if live connections are touched and/or the electrical or mechanical configuration is altered.
- If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service representative, or similarly qualified persons to avoid any danger.
- Repairs to the coffee machine must only be carried out by an authorized specialist or by customer service technicians. Unqualified repairs can lead to serious danger for the user. They will also void the warranty.
- Repairs to coffee machines under warranty may only be carried out by authorized service centers; otherwise, the warranty will be voided if further defects occur.
- Defective parts may only be replaced with original spare parts. Only original spare parts guarantee the fulfillment of safety requirements.
1.2 Risk of Burn or Scald
Certain parts of the coffee machine can get hot during operation! The dispensed beverages and the emitted steam are very hot!
Observe the following safety measures to avoid burns/scalds to yourself and/or others:
- Do not touch any of the metal sleeves on the two coffee dispensing spouts.
- Avoid direct skin contact with escaping steam or hot water during rinsing, cleaning, and descaling.
1.3 Essential Safety Measures
Observe the following safety measures to ensure safe handling of the coffee machine:
- Never play with packaging materials. Risk of suffocation.
- Check if the coffee machine shows visible signs of damage before use. Do not use a defective coffee machine.
- Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capacities or lack of experience and knowledge, provided they are supervised or have been instructed on safe use and understand the risks involved.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above, provided they are supervised or have been instructed on safe use and understand the risks involved. Cleaning and maintenance will not be carried out by children, unless they are older than 8 years and supervised by adults. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children younger than 8 years.
- Children should not play with the appliance.
- This appliance is intended for household use or similar applications, such as:
- staff kitchens in shops, offices, and other work areas;
- - farms;
- by customers in hotels, motels, and other residential environments;
- - bed and breakfast type establishments.
- Protect the coffee machine from meteorological effects, such as rain, frost, and direct sunlight. Do not use the coffee machine outdoors.
- The appliance must not be submerged.
- Do not clean the coffee maker or accessories in a dishwasher.
- Do not pour other liquids besides water and do not put food into the water tank.
- Do not fill the water tank above the maximum mark (the lower edge of the filling opening; 1.1 liters).
- Operate the coffee machine only when the waste container, drip tray, and cup grid are mounted.
- Do not pull the cable to remove the plug from the socket and do not touch it with wet hands.
- Do not hold the coffee machine by the power cord.
- Do not leave the appliance and its cord within reach of children younger than 8 years.
- Before removing the water tank to fill or empty it, always turn off the appliance.
- Always place the appliance on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant work surface.
- Before brewing, the portafilter must be turned as far as possible to the right to prevent it from loosening due to high pressure.
- Improper use can lead to serious injury. To protect yourself against fire, electric shock, or bodily injury, do not immerse the cable, electrical plugs, or the heating base in water or other liquids. Do not use any appliance with a damaged cable or plug, after the appliance malfunctions, has been dropped, or damaged in any way. Contact the manufacturer or its customer service.
- After use, the surface of the heating element is subject to residual heat; do not touch the hot surface, use the handle or button. Always keep your hands away from the container and the appliance during and after use to reduce the risk of injury.
- The coffee machine must not be placed in a cabinet while in use.
1.4 Intended Use
The Beko espresso coffee machine is intended for use in homes and similar locations, for example in staff kitchens, shops, offices, and similar areas, or by customers in guesthouses, hotels, motels, and other accommodation facilities. This coffee machine is not intended for commercial use. The machine is intended exclusively for preparing coffee and heating milk and water. Any other use than that mentioned above is considered improper use.
Peril resulting from improper use!
If the appliance is not used for its intended purpose or is used in any other way, it may become a source of peril.
- Therefore, the coffee machine may only be used for its intended purpose.
- Observe the procedures described in this user manual.
No claims of any kind will be accepted for damages or injuries resulting from the use of the coffee machine for purposes other than those intended. The risk must be borne exclusively by the owner of the coffee machine.
1.5 Limitation of Liability
All technical information, data, and instructions regarding installation, operation, and maintenance of the coffee machine contained in these operating instructions represent the current state at the time of printing and are based on the best possible knowledge obtained through experience and know-how.
No claims can be made based on the information, illustrations, and descriptions in this user manual.
The manufacturer assumes no responsibility for damages or injuries caused by non-compliance with the user manual, use for purposes other than intended, unprofessional repairs, unauthorized modifications, or the use of unapproved spare parts.
1.6 Conformity with WEEE Directive and Disposal of Used Product
This product complies with EU Directive WEEE (2012/19/UE). This product is marked with a classification symbol for waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).
This symbol indicates that this product should not be disposed of with household waste at the end of its service life. The used appliance must be transported to a collection point for recycling electrical and electronic equipment. To find these collection points, please contact your local authority or the retailer from whom you purchased the product. Every household plays an important role in the restoration and recycling of old appliances. Proper disposal of used appliances helps prevent possible negative consequences for the environment and human health.
1.7 Conformity with RoHS Directive
The product you purchased complies with EU RoHS Directive (2011/65/UE). It does not contain hazardous and prohibited materials specified in this Directive.
1.8 Packaging Information
The packaging materials of the product were made from recyclable materials, in accordance with national environmental regulations. Packaging materials should not be disposed of with household waste or other types of waste. Transport them to the packaging collection points set up by local authorities.

2.1. Control Panel
- 1. Preheating Indicator: Indicates when the appliance is preheating.
- 2. Power On/Off and Cancel Button: Used to turn the appliance on/off or cancel an operation.
- 3. General Error Indicator: Lights up in case of a general error.
- 4. Cleaning and Descaling Button: Used for cleaning and descaling functions.
- 5. Milk Button: Activates milk frothing or milk-based beverage preparation.

All values declared on the product and on printed leaflets are taken from laboratory measurements performed in accordance with relevant standards. These values may vary depending on usage and environmental conditions.

ℹ️ This button ? will light up orange when the appliance needs descaling.
⚠️ If the NTC is not connected to the power board, the red error indicator will light up at that moment and no response will be obtained if any button is pressed.
Preparation
4.1 First Use
- Remove any protective film, stickers, and other packaging material from the appliance.
- Choose a safe and stable surface with an easily accessible power source and ensure a minimum distance from the sides of the coffee machine.
- Fill the water tank with fresh, cold, and clean water, at least up to the MIN mark and at most up to the MAX mark. (Do not add hot water).
- Then insert the water tank into the appliance.
- Insert the power plug into a wall socket with the appropriate voltage.
- The power button on the control panel will light up. Press this button to turn on the appliance. Place a cup directly under the brew head and press the cleaning button ?. The appliance will emit a beep and start cleaning. Once completed, the appliance will be ready for use.
4.2 Preparing a Single/Double Espresso
- Place the single or double espresso basket into the portafilter.
- Fill the basket with freshly ground coffee using the measuring scoop (approx. 8-15 g) and use the scoop to level the excess coffee. Press down with a force of approximately 15 kg with the flat side of the scoop to compact the coffee evenly and firmly.
- Insert the portafilter under the coffee outlet. Align it with the unlock symbol, slide it into the groove, and slowly turn it clockwise to the lock symbol.
- Place a coffee cup directly under the coffee outlet.
- Press the single or double button ☕, and you will hear a beep.
- The selected coffee indicator will start blinking, and coffee preparation will begin.
- Once preparation is complete, the appliance will emit a beep and enter standby mode. Remove the portafilter counter-clockwise. Clean and dry the portafilter after each use.
Wait 5 seconds after brewing and then remove the portafilter. This will help with easy removal of the movable filter.
Ground coffee cannot be used after it has been brewed.
Use the handle extension to remove coffee residues while keeping the basket in place.
To ensure the espresso stays at the optimal temperature, we recommend preheating the cups.
For the best flavor from coffee beans, we recommend using whole, freshly ground coffee beans every time you prepare an espresso.
In addition to the coffee used, using cold, fresh water without chlorine, odors, and other impurities will contribute to obtaining a perfect espresso.
Store espresso coffee in an airtight container in a cool, dry place to preserve its aroma. Coffee should not be stored for long periods, as its aroma will diminish.
4.3 Preparing Cappuccino & Latte
Cappuccino or Latte are combinations of a shot of espresso with different amounts of hot milk and milk foam.
- Hold the milk reservoir with one hand, press the button on the upper part of the milk reservoir lid to slide the milk reservoir to the right.
- Remove the milk reservoir lid by pressing the release button on the right side of the lid.
- Add milk to the milk reservoir. The milk level should always be below the maximum mark. The recommended milk temperature is 4-8 °C (~ 40-46 °F).
- Place the milk reservoir lid back on and attach the milk reservoir to the appliance; it should click into place. Ensure the milk reservoir is correctly fitted. Adjust the angle of the milk foam outlet over the cup. Adjust the milk foam density using the knob, according to your preference.
- Insert the single basket into the portafilter. Fill the filter with finely ground espresso coffee (approx. 8-15g). Tamp the coffee with the flat side of the coffee scoop.
- Insert the portafilter under the coffee outlet. Align it with the unlock symbol, slide it into the groove, and slowly turn it clockwise to the lock symbol.
This appliance allows the user to set the foam ratio by rotating the knob from Min to Max to obtain the desired foam. The recommended setting for Latte is min-mid, and for Cappuccino it is mid-max. Adjust the milk foam density according to your preferences.
ℹ️ Ensure the milk reservoir is always correctly positioned. If it is not positioned correctly, the cappuccino, latte, and milk foam buttons will turn off, and the functions will not be available. A beep will sound 3 times to indicate this.
ℹ️ Removing the milk reservoir has no impact on preparing coffee; the single/double espresso programs can still be used.
4.4 Preparing / Adding Milk Foam
- Fill the milk reservoir and set the button to the desired position. Press the milk foam button ?, and the appliance will start dispensing milk (90-140 ml). Once completed, the machine will return to standby mode.
⚠️ Always ensure the milk reservoir is correctly positioned. If it is not positioned correctly, the buttons for cappuccino, latte, and milk foam will turn off, and the functions will not be available. A beep will sound 3 times to indicate this.
ℹ️ Removing the milk reservoir has no impact on preparing coffee; the single/double espresso programs can still be used.
4.5 Adjusting Height for Different Cup Sizes
- For small cups, the cup stand (3) can be used.
- For medium-sized cups, place the cup on the drip tray (6) in the normal position.
- If the drip tray is removed for large cups, it must be replaced immediately after brewing the beverage. If the drip tray is not replaced after brewing, water may leak to the base due to the release of the internal system, requiring manual cleaning with a dry cloth.
Operation and Use
5.1 Adjusting Coffee/Milk Volume
Setting quantities for Single and Double Espresso
- Select the function to be reprogrammed. Press and hold the corresponding button (single or double espresso). You will hear a beep. [Programmable quantities for single/double espresso (min: 30/60ml, max: 50/100ml)]
- Release the button only after the desired coffee quantity has been dispensed. You will hear two beeps. This quantity is now saved for the corresponding function.
Setting quantities for Latte, Cappuccino, and Milk Foam
- Select the function to be reprogrammed. Press and hold the corresponding button (cappuccino, latte, or milk) and you will hear a beep. (The shortest milk preparation time is 10s, and the longest is 45s.)
- Release the button only after the desired milk preparation time has elapsed. You will hear two beeps. This time is now saved for the corresponding function.
- To modify the black coffee quantity; after milk dispensing is complete, press and hold the selected beverage icon until the desired quantity is dispensed.
ℹ️ The adjusted beverage settings will be saved in the device's memory for future use until they are reset or modified again.
Resetting a Single Beverage to Default/Factory Settings:
Press and hold any of the beverage buttons and the power button simultaneously for more than 3 seconds to reset the quantity of the selected beverage.
Resetting All Beverages to Default/Factory Settings:
Press and hold the single and double espresso buttons simultaneously for more than 3 seconds to reset the quantity of all beverages.
Standby Time: The appliance will automatically turn off after 29 minutes of inactivity (or after operation).
Cleaning
6.1 Cleaning the Milk Reservoir
Pour water into the milk reservoir up to the MAX level and press the milk foam button ?. After finishing, remove the milk reservoir components (9) (11) and clean them under running water.
⚠️ Clean the milk reservoir after each use to avoid milk residues.
6.2 Cleaning / Rinsing Function
To clean the coffee brew head, place a container under the brew head and press the cleaning button ?. Cleaning will finish in 16 seconds, and the appliance will be ready for use.
- If you do not use the appliance for more than 5 consecutive days, rinse and empty the water tank.
- The drip tray and its grid (6) (4) can be cleaned manually under running water.
- Do not put the portafilter in the dishwasher.
6.3 Descaling Function
When descaling is necessary, the descaling icon ? will light up orange. Place a container that can hold 1.5 L under the brew head. Pour water into the water tank up to the MAX level and mix it with descaler or citric acid. Press and hold the descaling button ? for more than 3 seconds, and you will hear two beeps, indicating that the first descaling cycle has started. The first cycle will last about 15 minutes. Once completed, the descaling icon will turn white.
Empty and replace the container under the brew head. Clean and fill the water tank up to the MAX level with clean water. Press and hold the descaling button ? for more than 3 seconds, and you will hear two beeps, indicating that the second descaling cycle has started. The second cycle will last about 6 minutes. After all these steps are completed, the machine will return to standby mode and be ready for use.
To reset the descaling warning status:
Press and hold the power and descaling buttons together for more than 3 seconds.
- Descaling is required after a predefined brewing cycle.
- ⚠️ For the appliance to be in the best operating condition, resetting the descaling warning status is not recommended.
Troubleshooting

Warranty Information

Additional Warranty Conditions:
For any defect occurring during the warranty period, contact the seller (i.e., the store where the product was purchased or directly via the Arctic Call Center). The warranty extension will be recorded in the warranty certificate by the SERVICE unit that performed the repair. The warranty covers the repair and/or replacement of parts found to be non-conforming as per OUG nr. 140/2021 (not caused by the consumer) by Arctic Service technicians.
The time limit for repair, replacement, or maintenance operations is 15 calendar days from the date the buyer reported the non-conformity to the seller (i.e., via the store where the product was purchased or directly via the Arctic Call Center).
Repairs/replacements are carried out in compliance with the following conditions - art. 12(1)-(5) of OUG nr. 140/2021:
- free of charge and without significant inconvenience to the consumer, taking into account the nature of the goods and their intended purpose;
- the consumer makes the goods available to the seller, and the seller collects the replaced goods at their own expense;
- the obligation to repair or replace goods includes, as applicable, the dismantling of non-conforming goods and the installation of replacement or repaired goods, or bearing the costs of dismantling and installation;
- the consumer is not obliged to pay for the normal use of the replaced goods during the period preceding their replacement.
Complaints regarding the aspects listed below will be resolved only at a cost:
- Parts and accessories showing dents, scratches, cracks, or deformations due to the consumer's exclusive fault.
THE PRODUCT IS NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY IN THE FOLLOWING CASES:
- The instructions for transport, handling, installation, use, and maintenance prescribed have not been followed.
- Collapsible sub-assemblies and accessories that are damaged during transport will be replaced by the seller (if transport is insured by or under the responsibility of the seller).
- Warranty is not granted for collapsible sub-assemblies and accessories of products that suffer damage due to the consumer's exclusive fault.
- The supply voltage values are outside the limits provided by standards (SR EN 50160).
- The user's electrical installation shows improvisations or non-conformities.
- The product has been used for purposes other than those for which it was designed.
- The product has undergone interventions (repairs, modifications) by unauthorized persons.
Consumer rights are as provided by OUG nr. 140/2021 and OG 21/1992 (republished).
