1. Important Safety and Environmental Instructions
This section includes safety instructions that contribute to protection against risks of personal injury or material damage. Failure to comply with these instructions voids the warranty.
1.1 Electric Shock Hazard
Mortal danger from electric current! Contact with electrical wires or components can lead to serious injury or even death! Observe the following safety measures to avoid electric shocks:
- Do not use the appliance if the power cord and plug are damaged. Contact authorized service.
- Do not open the coffee machine's housing. There is a risk of electric shock if you touch electrical connections and/or modify the electrical or mechanical configuration.
- Before cleaning the bean container, unplug the power cord from the socket. Dangers related to the coffee grinder!
1.2 Burn or Scald Hazard
The coffee machine's components can get very hot during use! Beverages and released steam are very hot! Observe the following safety measures to avoid burns or scalding yourself or others:
- Do not touch any of the metal edges on the two coffee spouts.
- Avoid direct skin contact with steam or hot water from rinsing, cleaning, or descaling.
1.3 Essential Safety Measures
Observe the following safety measures to ensure correct handling of the coffee machine:
- Never play with packaging material. Risk of suffocation. Keep packaging away from children.
- Check the coffee machine for visible signs of damage before use. Do not use a defective coffee machine. Contact authorized service.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced only by a service agent recommended by the manufacturer to avoid any danger! Contact the manufacturer or their customer service.
- Coffee machine repairs must only be carried out by an authorized specialist or customer service representatives. Unqualified repairs can pose considerable risks to the user. They will also void the warranty.
- Coffee machine repairs during the warranty period can only be carried out by service centers authorized by the manufacturer, otherwise the warranty will become void in case of subsequent damage.
- Defective components can only be replaced with original spare parts. Only the use of original spare parts guarantees compliance with safety requirements.
- This product can be used by children aged 8 and above, as well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental abilities or who lack experience and/or knowledge, provided they are supervised or have been instructed on how to use the appliance safely and understand the potential dangers. Children must not play with the product. Cleaning and maintenance tasks must not be performed by children unless they are over 8 years old and supervised.
- This product is intended for domestic use and similar applications, such as: kitchens for staff in shops, offices, or other work environments; farms; by guests in hotels, motels, or other residential environments; guesthouses.
- Protect the coffee machine from meteorological phenomena such as rain, frost, and direct sunlight. Do not use the coffee machine outdoors.
- Never immerse the coffee machine, power cord, or power plug in water or other liquids.
- Do not clean the coffee machine or its accessories in a dishwasher.
- Do not pour any liquid other than water and do not introduce food into the water tank.
- Do not fill the water tank above the maximum level mark (the bottom edge of the filling opening).
- Use the coffee machine only when the residue container, drip tray, and cup grid are mounted.
- Do not pull the cable to unplug the power plug and do not touch it with wet hands.
- Do not hold the coffee machine by the power cord.
- Keep the product and its power cord away from children under 8 years of age.
- The appliance can only be used for preparing coffee.
- Children must be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
- Unplug the appliance before cleaning it or when not in use.
- Place the appliance so that the plug is always accessible.
- Always use the appliance on a safe, level, clean, dry, and non-slip surface.
- This appliance is not a built-in coffee machine, so it is not designed to be integrated into furniture. The coffee machine must not be placed in a cupboard when in operation.
- Do not pinch, bend, or rub the power cord against sharp edges to prevent damage. Keep the cord away from hot surfaces or open flames.
- The mains voltage must correspond to the information provided on the appliance label.
- Use the appliance only with an earthed socket.
- Do not use the appliance with an extension cord.
- If your hands are wet, do not touch the appliance or its plug when it is connected to the socket.
1.4 Intended Use
The Beko fully automatic coffee machine is designed for domestic use and similar applications, e.g., in staff kitchens, shops, offices, and similar spaces, or by guests in guesthouses, hotels, motels, and other accommodation. The coffee machine is not designed for commercial use. The coffee machine is used only for preparing coffee and heating milk and water. Any other use than that mentioned above is considered improper.
Improper use can lead to hazards! If not used for its intended purpose or used in other ways, the coffee machine may pose or become a source of hazards.
- WARNING: Therefore, the coffee machine may only be used for its intended purpose.
- WARNING: Observe the procedures described in this user manual. No claims will be accepted for damages or injuries caused by using the coffee machine other than for its intended purpose. The risk will be borne solely by the coffee machine owner.
1.5 Limitation of Liability
All technical information, data, and instructions regarding installation, use, and maintenance of the coffee machine contained in this user manual are updated as of its printing date and are based on the best information obtainable through experience and expertise. No claims can arise from the information, illustrations, and descriptions in this user manual. The manufacturer assumes no liability for damages or injuries resulting from non-compliance with the user manual, use other than for the intended purpose, unprofessional repairs, unauthorized modifications, or use of unapproved spare parts.
1.6 WEEE Directive and Disposal of Used Product
This product complies with EU Directive WEEE (2012/19/UE). The product is marked with a symbol for classification of electrical and electronic waste (WEEE). This symbol indicates that the product must not be disposed of with other household waste at the end of its service life. Used appliances must be returned to a designated collection point for electrical and electronic appliances. To find these collection systems, contact local authorities or the distributor from whom the product was purchased. Every household plays an important role in the recovery and recycling of old appliances. Proper disposal of used appliances helps prevent possible negative consequences for the environment and human health.
1.7 RoHS Directive Compliance
The product you have purchased complies with EU RoHS Directive (2011/65/UE). It does not contain hazardous and prohibited materials specified in this Directive.
1.8 Packaging Information
The product's packaging is made from recyclable materials, in accordance with our national environmental regulations. Packaging materials must not be disposed of with household waste or any other type of waste. Transport them to the packaging collection points set up by local authorities.

Included in the box are three cleaning agent packets for the self-cleaning process.
3. Preparation
3.1 Installation
Remove any protective film, stickers, or other packaging materials from the product.
Choose a safe and stable surface with power access nearby and leave a minimum distance from the coffee machine's edges.
Insert the external drip tray. Ensure it is inserted correctly.
Unwind and straighten the power cord and plug it into the socket located on the back of the machine. Plug the other end of the power cord into a socket with the appropriate voltage.
3.2 Filling the Water Tank
About the protection program: If the water tank is not fully inserted into the appliance, a protection mode will activate for 15 minutes during the brewing process. The hot water button will light up on the control panel.
- Ensure the water tank is fully inserted into the appliance.
- Press the hot water button. After the hot water is dispensed, the appliance will enter standby mode.
⚠️ WARNING: When flashing, the water tank level is low and it needs to be refilled with water.
Lift the water tank using the handle.
Remove the water tank.
Rinse the water tank with fresh water and then fill the tank up to the Max level and place it back in the appliance. Be careful to insert it completely.
To prevent water from leaking from the water tank, do not add water directly into the product with another container.
⚠️ WARNING: Never fill the tank with hot, boiling, mineral water, or any other liquid that could damage the water tank and the product.
Place the water tank back into position using the handle.
Close the water tank using the cover.
4. Operation
4.1 Grinding Adjustment
You can adjust the grinder to match the roast level of the coffee beans by turning the adjustment knob in the bean container. When the grinder is grinding coffee beans during preparation, you can turn the adjustment knob to make the adjustment.
WARNING: Never adjust the grinding when the grinder is not running. The grinder may be damaged. The dots on the adjustment knob indicate how fine the grind is.
4.2 Filling the Bean Container
When ? flashes, the product needs to be refilled with coffee beans.
Remove the bean container lid.
Slowly pour in the coffee beans.
Replace the container lid.
WARNING: Fill the bean container only with beans. Ground coffee, instant coffee, caramelized coffee, or any other objects can damage the coffee machine.
ℹ️ Press the hot water button (see page 9, section IV) to clean the inside of the coffee machine before first use.
4.3 Coffee Preparation
Turn on the product by pressing the On/Off button. The product will then be in standby mode.
Place a cup under the coffee spout and adjust the spout height according to the cup.
If you press the espresso button, it will light up, and the lights will indicate that the product is brewing coffee. When the product returns to standby mode, the coffee can be served.
- Turn off the product by pressing the On/Off button.
- Depending on the desired coffee aroma, press the strong espresso button or the weak espresso button.
- Press the hot water button to clean the inside of the coffee machine before first use.
- The product is equipped with an automatic shut-off function. Depending on the mode you have selected, the product will have a different automatic shut-off timing.
4.4 Setting Coffee/Hot Water Volume
You can memorize the desired coffee volume for both strong and weak espresso, as well as the amount of hot water, between 25ml and 250ml.
When preparing coffee (strong or weak espresso) or when the machine dispenses hot water, press and hold the selected button. The product will continue to prepare the coffee.
When the desired coffee volume is reached, release the button. Two beeps will be heard, indicating that the coffee volume has been memorized.
To reset to factory default settings:
To revert to the default values for coffee volume and hot water selection stored in the device's memory, a factory reset is necessary.
- When the device is off, remove the drip trays from the inside and outside.
- Remove the back cover.
- Remove the carafe.
- Replace the back cover.
- Press and hold the on/off button for 5 seconds (you will hear a beep twice).
- Open the service cover.
- Place the carafe.
- Close the service cover.
- Place the drip tray.
It has returned to factory settings.
4.5 Hot Water
The product can dispense hot water by simply pressing the hot water button. The hot water button and lights will turn on to indicate that the product is heating water. When the hot water button and lights turn off, the water is ready to serve.
4.6 Mode Selection
The product has two different settings: default setting, ECO mode, and speed mode. In ECO mode, the product saves more energy. In speed mode, the user can prepare their coffee faster than in the default mode.

The pre-infusion function moistens the ground beans in the brew unit with a small amount of water before fully extracting them. This causes the ground coffee to expand, exerting greater pressure in the brew unit, which helps to extract all the oils and the full aroma of the ground beans.
- When the product is in standby mode, press and hold ⏱️ for 5 seconds.
- ⏱️ will flash, and the buttons will indicate different settings:

3. Press the hot water button for ECO mode, the strong espresso button for speed mode, and the weak espresso button for the default setting. Two beeps will be heard, indicating the mode selection. (Note: If you press the button lights for each mode, the product will not respond).
4. If you wish to keep the settings unchanged, press again or wait 5 seconds for the product to return to standby mode.
5. Cleaning
5.1 Product Cleaning
- Disconnect the power cord from the socket.
- Empty all water from the internal and external drip trays.
- Use a damp cloth or a non-abrasive cleaning agent to clean water spots from the product.
WARNING: Never use abrasive agents, vinegar, or descaling agents not included in the box for cleaning the product.
Timely cleaning and maintenance of the product are very important for extending its service life.
Remove the external drip tray.
Slide out the internal drip tray and the ground coffee container.
Empty the ground coffee container and wash it with fresh water. Then dry it.
When ? lights up, the ground coffee container needs to be emptied. This icon will light up after every 10 coffee brews. Clean the container to reset the icon. If the container is clean, it is sufficient to remove and reinsert the container.
Pull down the service door and remove this container.
Press the release button.
Remove the brew unit. Wash the brew unit with fresh water. Then dry it.
When ♨️ remains lit, it means the brew unit is removed / improperly installed. When ⚠️ flashes, it means the service door is removed / improperly installed.
5.2 Self-Cleaning
When ? flashes, it means the product needs to self-clean. The product will remain in very good condition if you run this function at least once a month or at more regular intervals, depending on water hardness. It is also recommended to:
- Fill the water tank completely.
- Add one packet of cleaning agent included in the box to the water tank.
WARNING: Do not use vinegar or any other cleaning agent to perform self-cleaning of the product. The cleaning agent can damage the product.
3. Connect the product.
4. Place a sufficiently large container under the coffee spout.
5. In standby mode, press and hold ⏱️ and the Strong Espresso button for 5 seconds. A beep will be heard, and the Strong Espresso button will flash.
6. Press the Strong Espresso button to confirm that the self-cleaning process is in progress. To return to standby mode, press ⏱️.
7. ? will flash, indicating that the product is running the self-cleaning process.
WARNING: Do not touch skin/body with hot water.
8. When all water has been dispensed from the water tank, and the Strong Espresso button will flash. Empty any remaining solution from the water tank and refill it with ordinary tap water up to the max level. When the water tank is full with water, ? will light up. The product will then continue the self-cleaning process.
9. When the self-cleaning process is complete, the product will automatically shut off.
5.3 Empty System Function
The Empty System function is recommended for use before long periods of non-use, for frost protection, and before taking the product for repair.
- In standby mode, press and hold ⏱️ and the Weak Espresso button simultaneously for 5 seconds.
- ? will flash.
- Remove the water tank from the product. ? will light up and remain lit, indicating that the system is emptying. You can press ⏱️ before emptying the water tank to resume standby mode.
4. When the Empty System function is complete, the product will automatically shut off.
WARNING: After running the SYSTEM EMPTY FUNCTION, press the hot water button until water starts to come out of the spout when you reuse the coffee machine.
5.4 Manual Rinse
You can perform a manual rinse cycle to clean the coffee outlet after use. A manual rinse is also recommended if the product has not been used for a long time.
- In standby mode, press and hold ⏱️ and the hot water button simultaneously.
- The hot water button, Strong Espresso button, and Weak Espresso button will turn off. The coffee outlet will dispense a small amount of water, which is used for rinsing.
WARNING: The water coming out of the coffee outlet is hot and is collected in the drip tray below. Avoid contact with water droplets.
3. After rinsing, the product will return to standby mode.
Cancelling Auto-Cleaning Mode
Your appliance cleans itself automatically before and after each brewing operation. You can follow the steps below to cancel the auto-cleaning mode.
- Turn on the appliance by pressing the On-Off button and wait until standby mode is activated.
- Open the service cover.
- Press the On-Off button for 5 seconds; a beep will be heard.
- Close the service cover.
- Now, the automatic cleaning operation is cancelled.
ℹ️ We recommend actively using the auto-cleaning mode for optimal operation.
6. Troubleshooting

Warranty Information
The warranty covers repair and/or replacement of parts found to be defective (not caused by the consumer) by Service technicians. The repair, replacement, or maintenance operations are to be completed within 15 calendar days from the date the buyer reported the defect to the store where the product was purchased or directly to the Call Center Arctic.
Commercial warranty is 3 years from the date the product is in the consumer's possession, including the legal warranty period. Commercial warranty applies to products sold and located within Romania at the time of claiming commercial warranty.
The product does not benefit from legal and commercial warranty in cases where:
- Transport, handling, installation, use, and maintenance instructions have not been followed.
- Breakable sub-assemblies and accessories that are damaged during transport will be replaced by the seller (if they arrange transport).
- Warranty is not granted for breakable sub-assemblies and accessories of products damaged due to consumer fault.
- Power supply voltage values are outside the limits specified by standards.
- The user's electrical installation has improvisations or non-conformities.
- The product was used for purposes other than intended.
- The product has undergone interventions (repairs, modifications) by unauthorized persons.
Consumer rights are as provided by Law 449/2003 (republished) and OG 21/1992 (republished).
