QUICK START INSTRUCTIONS
The handpiece arrives in a locked state for shipping. Plug in the charging base, then placing the handpiece in the charging base to automatically unlock the handpiece.
Use the Loop™ protective eye shield and Loop™ protective barrier sleeves. If a protective barrier sleeve is not used, refer to the Instructions for Use to change the Protective Barrier Sleeve setting to OFF.
For complete instructions, see Instructions for Use. Follow the initial set-up instructions and fully charge the unit for three hours prior to first use.
Initial setup
- Turn the closed-loop feature on or off by pressing and holding the menu button for 2 seconds. (The Loop curing light default setting is with the closed-loop feature turned off.)
- Select the desired curing irradiance using the Menu button.
- Choose the amount of time in seconds for the cure using the Select button.
- Press the Start/Stop button to begin curing.
- When the closed-loop feature is turned on: If the lens is positioned within 3 to 4 mm of the targeted surface, the cure cycle will begin. If the lens is positioned too far away, it will enter Auto Start (pulsing light). In this situation, properly align and lower the lens closer to the surface allowing the cure cycle to automatically start.
- A successful complete cure shows a green circle with a check-mark and the total joules delivered
